So another Temple Sealer left the church because he “read church history, and my conscience could not allow me to stay.” That wasn’t your conscience speaking. Your adversary put a negative thought in your brain, and you allowed it to expand and destroy your testimony. That’s how he works. Something as simple as a thought, an idea, a feeling, a fear, etc., enters our mind, and unless we recognize what is happening, it can become a wedge that can destroy our testimony. I’ve had those same things happen to me hundreds if not thousands of times. Satan never gives up. He looks for every possible chance to place that little wedge to start its destructive process. Let me give you a secret: I’ve discovered that whenever I get lax or lazy in my reading, prayers, or service, his thoughts are strongest. When that happens now, it makes me mad because I realize that I’ve been lazy and need to get better. I encourage you to keep nurturing and watering your Tree of Faith. Don’t let anything, including any negative report of our beloved Prophets that may or may not be accurate. They will be judged for their actions just as you will be for yours. I leave you with my testimony that I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God’s only true church on the earth. @saynotocreatine I just listened to a podcast about a lady that was in an actual cult where they had her lay naked on a table and branded the leaders initials next to her vagina, after having her say that she was honored to do this. I will never take 'your church is a cult' seriously.

Do anti-mormons realized how lame they sound when they say we're in a cult? A cult that teaches u to follow Christ & be a good person? A cult that literally, statistically turns young men & women into more successful adults? A cult that lets u leave whenever u want? Alright.

You are correct in this assessment if the Spirit of God is not operating. Your interpretation is devoid of any influence from God. I think its less repetition and more active study and learning from the Holy Ghost. Your soul enlarges as you continue in good faith prayer and study. Your understanding expands, the gaps of ignorance are filled with knowledge.

@CerebralCereal0 @LDSMormon I think people of all faith do exercise alma 32, which is why people of all faiths vehemently argue that their particular brand is correct. Alma 32 is simply the principle of repetition, do something over and over and familiarity becomes conflated with truth. What do you think?

@jonathanaplumb @originalJavaJoe Ok pretend a genius forger has it out for Joseph and alters it. Now it's Joseph's word against his. So what could Joseph do? Easy, translate it a third time, which would match 1 and 2 and prove his ability. Joseph didn't retranslate because he couldn't, and his excuse is silly.

@bryanth2o 🤡🤡🤡 Joseph Smith was arrested and jailed many times - once for ‘incitement of a riot’ and ‘treason’. Sound familiar? No LDS person should have any problem whatsoever voting for a person unfairly targeted by an unjust legal system targeting individuals.
