Once weed gets legalized any semblance of it being “cool” goes out the window. You go into a weed shop and are standing in line with fat 55 year old women who have a vape addiction and guys who can only afford single pre-rolls at a time. Total loserville

A leftist will read something like "how to seize political power: by Mao Zedong" a man who's party is still controls China. A Rightist will read something called "The esoteric insights of the kali yuga, by Julius Evola". An autistic sperg that thought he had magic powers

@NwahSayir I understand how my post could have been misconstrued as a pro left statement, my post is to make fun of the large chunk of the "far right" that are silly billies with their heads in the clouds.

Okay, so, I'm not going to say the Tower of Babel was a real thing that existed, but this is ignoring the point of the mythological story. Nimrod believed in God, but considered himself to be his equal. He built the Tower of Babel so he could challenge God. By compelling people to participate in its construction, Nimrod was essentially making people turn away from God to trust in their own strength, and defy his command to spread around the world and multiply. God responded by confounding their languages and forcing them to scatter, and destroyed the tower to humble them. It wasn't that they were trying to reach the heavens. It's why they did it. A bunch of bronze age savages thought they could do the impossible. Thousands of years later, after the advent of Newtonian physics, and a World War which showed mankind why they needed to quit acting like apes fighting over a banana tree, Man was ready to reach the heavens. Not to prove he was better than God, but to better understand His creation. I'm not even a Bible-thumping Christian and I know this. Even if you don't take the story literally as an actual historical event, there's a lesson and warning against the folly of unchecked ambition and people concerting toward impossible goals doomed to disaster. Reaching the heavens is possible, but not before you're ready. Cautionary tales against trying to do things before you're ready are common in mythology. The story of Bellerophon trying to fly on Pegasus to Mount Olympus is one such story.

@RustyShack33388 The sensitive young man requires nourishment for the soul. The godless, soulless leftist only cares about the material because he has no vril/faustian spirit. The leftist controls the state but cannot control himself, a base animal at best. The right winger seeks the divine.

@Hippogriffter I dont get why they boast about this. DC was still a small city during this time, and the raid was a part of the larger Seige of Baltimore, which ended in a British defeat. The general that ordered to burn DC died a week later. It was a symbolic victory within a strategic defeat

@saybruh99x @Fuse0713 @paleonormie Im not supporting this from a grindset angle, im supporting this through a "this kid will likely inherit his father's business or start is own, and learning through trial and error in a low risk environment" angle You would've gotten that if you had basic reading comprehension

The America where this would impress his future employer is long gone, the one that replaced it is one where this kind of hustle marks one as a member of the servant caste. It’s just really sad to see a dad doing this under the misconception that it sets his son up for success
Brandon Doyle@Brandondoyle

This is my son. He is almost 16 and wants a vehicle. I refuse to buy him one and told him he needs to pay for it himself. He got a job as a rec basketball league referee and quickly realized how long it would take to save up enough money to get a $3k car making $12/hour. Then I showed him some cooler $6k options on Bring a Trailer and he got the itch to make more money. I gave him countless ideas to pursue. He wasn't feeling any of them. Then I decided to show him some podcast episodes from @mhp_guy (he's listened to some from Chris before and was a fan). No ideas were really hitting home until he heard an episode between Chris and @ShannonJean about reselling. He fell in love. So I showed him a few more and he was convinced that that was the route he should take. We started browsing B-Stock and then realized we need a state tax license and some other stuff so we got that all set up. Then we browsed some more. Endless deals. We settled on buying 115 rugs at an average of $13/rug after shipping. They're all Costco returns. Various sizes, some in better condition than others. He now has to figure out how to sell all these through my Facebook Marketplace account. I won't be helping him at all, other than answering questions and casually giving him strategic ideas here and there. If he can sell the rugs at an average price of $35 (keep in mind some are brand new and are 10' x 14' large), he'll make $2500 in profit. Then we can start car shopping :). P.S. Chris and Shannon - thanks for the motivation!!!
