Running into the safezone feels like a part of the game that should exist imo though - it incentivises clans to invest in faster boats and gives small groups the ability to evade giant ships Making boats basically becomes a tradeoff between speed (defence) and cannons/size (offence)

Don't like that this is getting removed, lost a few boats because of it. Still would rather have it be in and the effect can't overlap. For instance, you hit someone with a cannon (slowed for usual timer) but all other cannons in that timer don't apply slow, so theirs a window to escape. Everyone just runs to the safezone in the deep sea if they're losing and it's lame. With the cannons slowing it gave people the chance to force and engagement which I think is neccesary for the deep sea.

It looks like we'll be seeing Armoured Ladder Hatches next update 🔥 They cost 40 HQM + 10 Gears to craft, and their raid cost is currently unknown 👀

@pulseogx This is something that's only really gone viral in the last few weeks. If you play official Rust you'll certainly see shields being used a LOT more than usual

Did you know that if you combine the Roadsign Horse Amour with the Metal Shield and a basic clothing kit, you can achieve 98.25% projectile protection? Is this meta broken or should Rust leave it untouched?

@BTEBYT I actually really like the deep sea as of this forcewipe. They nerfed the loot you can get from it, but it respawns making the deep sea useful for the entire 3 hour uptime period
