If I were to make a "Classic Rust" server. (Basically 2018-2020 Rust) Would people even play it?

@Peek0320 @TheSecca @tacularr Old walls people used only with ak/lr sets, now we have bow kids using 6 walls in a fight. Meh rust is just too far gone at this point facepunch will not adress this.

State of Rust is absolutely terrible right now. Incen bullets, heavy pot roams, wall spam, grenade spam, attack helicopters and the icing on the cake: cheaters and roofcampers. Let's not forget 15 bag limit incentivizes not roaming past your base grid. What happened to Rust lol.

@TheSecca @tacularr Better have wall spam then to die to some grub p2 sitting in bush or some roofcamper with ak with 0 counterplay. Unless there is some sort of gunplay overhaul walls have to stay.

@LoochyTV I'm guessing you played on burntpeanuts server, vanilla gameplay is 1000x worse and everyone is cheating and the game performs like ass and is also very pay2win with camo sets. Also the pvp is very low ttk, while also being extremely rng based making camo sets required to compete

I respect Rust but that game is NOT for me man 😂 From everything I’ve seen it looks like you have to play 8 hours a day to make progress & keep up. The interactions are hilarious but I’m leaving that game to the professionals.

Interesting how Apartment Complex "apartment" upkeep works based on what explosive items you have and scrap is auto pulled from your chests at the moment. #Rust

@Protox0 Just scrap deep sea shit is not good for the game whatsoever its antifun and people only go for the op loot and it kills main land as everyone builds on the beach/ocean.

Deep Sea loot is being re-balanced, 15% less when Deep Sea opens and only up to 30% of loot respawns after being looted. #Rust

@RustylootGG Makes sense because all my friends used to mainly play rust, but they have only skins for cs. Camo sets are probably the most popular ones is my guess.

The Market Cap of all Rust skins is around ~200 million dollars. This makes the Rust skin market about 20x smaller than the CS2 market.

@RustylootGG @playrust No hope at this point: another safezone, more bloat, more zerg qol, more tools for losers camping oil (f1 trip wires), no mentions of gunplay changes even tho its the biggest issue rn, new armour for zergs which makes previous statement more rng based, battlepass (lol).

The roadmap for @playrust updates this year is absolutely cracked Which ones are you most excited for?

@SuddenRad @Protox0 If i was bad i would say its in a perfect state. In all of rusts existence i think this is the most anti skill/cheater based/rng/group based gunplay system we have had. And this is coming from somone who experienced the AHK m92 meta.

@thatkidwally Or, maybe the views are down because some people still make content the same way they did back in 2021. I do agree tho, I also miss old PVP. But you could try and adapt your content to whats popular now. Goof around a bit, make funny videos, be creative.

Been saying this for a LONG TIME. THE GAME ISNT FUN TO WATCH BECAUSE OF THE PVP SYSTEM IN PLACE. THE UPDATES IN RUST HAVE BEEN AMAZING WITH SO MUCH MORE CONTENT ADDED BUT THE VIEWS ARE DOWN. WHY? @blooprintgames Sorry i opened your video and closed it instantly. I'm bored of all these naval etc.. bullshit wall spam, horse armour/shield meta, aimcone gambling pvp. Rust is just not in a good state whatsoever and only the russian playerbase is peaking, everythign else is in decline.

I've never seen a level of disinterest from viewers for new content in Rust, especially for one as big as the Naval Update. Very interesting to see... maybe slightly worrying too? 😅

The worse force wipe Iv ever played. Deep sea is unplayable for solos since now you get slowed down with cannonballs. Land roams turned into horse battles and shields. And even if you go oil or cargo its the same story. Game is practically FORCING you to play like that. Boring
