I've been a part of the @Cryptomories team/mods since the early days. I tried to keep the team focused in the chaos during the heyday and did my best to add value to the team. I also was the lead in stewarding the mental health utility from inception to conclusion. This among many other responsiblities. However, now that the project is focused intensly on shipping a game, it's time for me to step aside and let gaming become front and center. We will always be a strong advocate of mental health, but we are a web3 gaming and lifestyle brand. Mental health is just one part of the overall vision. It's time to focus on its core business and execute. I'm so very grateful of all the support the FaMorie gave me for my ideas over the years. I'm truly humbled by the impact the therapy utility was able to make on people from all over the world. If any project is looking for an ops guy/project manager I'm available. I'm not done impacting people's lives for the better through web3. On to my next adventure.

Less, most art struggles with subject matter. What is in focus; what isn’t. Being anonymous helped make the art clear and focused. Now the artist is part of the art. His art is particularly refined. Few colors, political, relevant. He went to lengths to hide his identity for a reason. Not terrible outcome, but not as good imo.

My only real "culture shock" with regards to Japan is the way people here will call the police to make a noise complaint instead of just, y'know, ringing the doorbell and asking for things to be a bit quieter.

@DCinvestor If republicans win with Rubio he needs to be Secretary of State before even thinking of being president. The boy still has a lot of growing up to do.

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 PresidentTrump says the Fed should hold a "special meeting" to cut interest rates "right now." "What's a better time to cut interest rates than now? A 3rd grade student would know that."

@bunburyoudoujp I remember hearing this take 35 years ago. I can see both sides of the argument. I think they do milk bread very well and can imitate French pastry but it lacks soul.

@StreetFightsHQ Littering is generally not applicable to fast biodegradable organic material. Throwing a banana peel or apple core into the woods isnt littering, same for a chicken bone. Nature will consume it. Unlike plastics.

In 2021, 42 owls in the UK died after receiving a vitamin supplement which erroneously contained 1000x the intended amount of Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine). Toxicology analyses traced the error to a Japanese firm, Asuka Animal Health Ltd, which had intended to replicate MVS-30, an original avian supplement made by the UK firm, VIDEX Ltd. The original formulation had erroneously listed the vitamin B6 content as “360gm”, instead of “360mg”. This labelling error resulted in a 1000-fold dose of vitamin B6 manufactured, leading to fatal neurological toxicity in the unfortunate owls.

@TheAmericanGrl Every Muslim I’ve ever met are extremely kind, polite, and good citizens. Same with Hindi. That’s just my personal experience. I don’t live in a big city though so maybe it’s different?

Mises obliterated the entire socialist project in 1920 with one devastating insight: "Where there is no free market, there is no pricing mechanism; without a pricing mechanism, there is no economic calculation." The socialists spent the next century pretending this problem didn't exist while their economies collapsed around them. And yet here we are, watching politicians promise they can "fix" healthcare, housing, and energy markets through central planning. They can't even calculate the cost of their own programs correctly — how exactly are they going to allocate resources across an entire economy? Every Venezuelan breadline, every Soviet grain shortage, every Chinese famine was just Mises being proven right in the most brutal way possible. But sure, let's try democratic socialism this time. What could go wrong?

@AnnieOakleyRox @tslaproxy @handre If given the choice to wait for an MRI and spend $0 vs spending $600-$1000 for an immediate MRI, I’d wait. I could choose to pay for an MRI if I wanted, but like the idea of having that choice. The US system there is no choice

@tslaproxy @handre The US is a badly run socialist healthcare system. You never noticed. Federal, state and local governments spend >$2T on healthcare… defining most aspects badly through central planning. Everything in the “free market” rotates around that.

We love our healthcare in the U.S. and of course you will spend less per capita on healthcare when it is being rationed by the giver. The amount we pay for our healthcare is not the issue. The issue is how much of healthcare is limited with the intent to save money. This is why I hate it when any health studies talk about treatment effectiveness and cost at the same time.

@tslaproxy @handre In Australian we have medicare which is a “free” GP service and we have “free” public hospital service but this “free” healthcare is paid for with levies and taxes by employed tax paying citizens. So not free at all.
