@East_Riding If the sign was put up by contractors who were more than likely contracted by you to carry out roadworks, why would that be the bus companies issue?

@Ryan21424003 Hi ExBlox Unfortunately the council are unaware of any changes to the bus stops on Figham Road in recent months. You would need to make contact with the ERYC Bus Company to see if they are able to assist. Regards Sue

@East_Riding this temporary bus stop sign has been left by contractors by Figham Road, Beverley for nearly 4 weeks now. Can it be removed or is it to stay there forever?

This is how good The Day of the Jackal (1973) is: I watched it for the first time recently and paused halfway through to double-check whether Charles de Gaulle had actually been assassinated or not. It's an absolute masterpiece in tone, structure, and tension... it never blinks

@ArthurMacwaters Henry plank of wood Cavill. No thanks. Dreadful one note actor. He's too old to start a good Bond stint now. Amazon will go with young.

My dad took me to see Capricorn One when I was only 6, and three things burned into my brain: Jerry Goldsmith’s score, James Brolin eating a raw snake, and Elliot Gould in this manic, scramble to stop a car without brakes. Rewatched years later and appreciated the rest.

@ReelJoBotting If Melanie Griffith married her Something Wild co-star Jeff Daniels, she'd be Melanie Daniels. Melanie's mother Tippi Hedren played a character called Melanie Daniels in The Birds. Ta-da!!

Just finished watching Number One Fan on Channel 5 and it struck me that if Tuppence Middleton married Jill Halfpenny she could call herself Tuppence Halfpenny.

THE OMEN was released 20 years ago today. Harvey Stephens, who played Damien in the original 1976 film, made a cameo appearance in the 2006 remake as a tabloid reporter questioning Robert Thorn about the deceased nanny. 🎬

Now Watching Goldeneye (1995) Starting early with a bit of Bank Holiday Bond, Pierce Brosnan's amazing introduction as 007 after a 6 year hiatus (the longest between Bond films at the time) after License To Kill with amazing action and stuntwork, an epic return to form. Any fans?

PSYCHO II [1983] Directed by Richard Franklin Yesterday I posted about Psycho III, and many people said this one is even better. Do you agree? 🤔

@JohnBensalhia The last use of the best logo design, although it seemed less imaginative than previous ones.

I never really got into Now 17 (released on this day in 1990) that much. Too much indie and rave for my liking but still, me being me, I bought the vinyl just for completists' sake.

@robertsfone9 @TheStingisBack Well I've never seen the parade. But he's forgotten in the sense of merchandise, character visibility. He's certainly not as visible as many other classic Disney characters. In my opinion.

I loved Pete’s Dragon (1977). Not sure I want to revisit it and risk breaking the magic, but what a cast Mickey Rooney and Helen Reddy were terrific, Shelley Winters was gloriously grubby, and Jim Dale & Red Buttons had live‑action Fox and Cat from Pinocchio energy. Good memories

@pop_rambler @RealKenBruce Just sent off my video audition. My lack of knowledge on 50s and 2010s to present does worry me but I just fancy the experience and meeting other music trivia people. Love Back to Now btw 👍🏻

Well, could you? 🎧 I had a ball a few years back on Series One becoming the 2nd best popmaster-er of 2023. And I met the legend @RealKenBruce , some great fellow contestants and became the envy of friends with a snazzy prize disc. Go on! ⭐️ #popmaster #channel4

Well. I now understand why Sony decided to skip the theatrical release for THRASH and put it on Netflix. Another dull shark movie with repetitive attacks and very little to make you invested in any of it. Comes alive a bit towards the very end, but it's barely a complete movie.

Condorman (1981) is fascinating. Disney attempted a James Bond/superhero rival starring Michael Crawford (yes, Frank Spencer from Some Mothers Do ’Ave ’Em). It didn't fly, but it has moments of brilliance: Henry Mancini's score, the locations, Oliver Reed, and this Porsche chase

Just when you thought you could not hate this authoritarian government any more: 🚨 #Kanye West travel to UK for @WirelessFest blocked. 🚨 Tune into @GBNEWS tonight from 6pm where I will be covering for Dewbs and asking "WHO does this government think it is?!" A private American citizen, employed by a commercial business, from tickets bought by private citizens is banned from the UK because of historical behaviour whilst experiencing a mental health episode. He's just played several nights in the USA - a country whose closest ally is ISRAEL!! Group-think, fear of being unpopular, a love of censorship, a hard-hearted attitude to forgiveness & a complete lack of clear ethics from @Keir_Starmer . I am so ashamed of our country. @UKLabour just broke the hearts of thousands and thousands of teenagers and guaranteed that they will never, ever vote for them. 👏
