Although i trade IB stat (a lot), the way it has been used is quite dangerous. Ib is a process of auction, and the stat doesnt always hold if u dont understand the process behind it.

@PatternProfits Ib stat didnt hold today. But first fvg at 10 gives the clue. Also my 3m OR. Coupled with vwaps and bookmap.

@PatternProfits For me, it was just divergence. If u use bookmap, u will see orders were hot near the ibl in Es. And that was where the price went. Combining orderflow with ib has been a game changer for me

$NQ IB close in the lower half with the low printing 1st & no 1st FVG. Mixed.⚠️ $ES IB close in the lower half with the high printing 1st & red 1st FVG. 🔴 Overall, entire message is mixed. Friday chop likely in the early going.

Should be quite clear this morning which contract is stronger and which contract is weaker in the early going. $NQ > $ES, but that still doesn't mean there's a high probability long trade idea for me. The $ES short idea has the proper setup.

$NQ An outlier day for IB with the high printing 1st & the close in the lower half (bearish), but I knew it was trouble on the short side when the 10am $ES red FVG went IFVG & then the $NQ 1st FVG after 10am printed green with those displacement candles. tradingview.com/x/gBWgDU97/

RTH Gap Tip (Indices). The most powerful thing I even seen! When you’re looking for RTH gap fills, shift your focus to SPX first. If SPX opens with a large RTH gap and, between 9:30–9:40 AM NY, price fails to take any key liquidity levels (HTF), avoid chasing the move. Instead: 1. Wait for a retracement to ~25%-50% of the RTH gap 2. Look for rejection / reversal confirmation (usually 5-minute OB) 3. Target the nearest external liquidity level

@BalarezoCapital Context is the king. If u really want to know whats going on, i suggest to cross reference RSP And mag7 and ES if u want to play break of IB high/low.

This is why the majority of profitable traders use discretion. New traders chase these mechanical models and eventually realize that almost no purely mechanical model is profitable.

@ProbableChris I will churn 10 evals from them. Once i got 50-60k from them in ideal situation u wont hear from me again. But 30 days access period means people will blow accounts left and right

@R3G5B7 @ProbableChris Would like to see what apex roll out in full tomorrow. And any hidden rules. Imo lucid is the best now, although u would question whether the business model (no monthly subscription) is sustainable.

@AC_Trades Not sure if u correlate with ES ES has a different HOD compared to NQ, kinda divergence there. NQ just a few ticks away from taking P12H. So technically, i would say both indexes have out of stat HOD and LOD.

Good Morning! Analysis: In stat HOD with out of stat LOD with stats stacking below price: - Midnight Open - Open prices 1-6am - 5 bearish levels - Open prices 1-7am We are also in a bearish footprint and people always ask how I use this and what it is. Its just untapped wicks from the H1. If all stats are BELOW live price it gives me context that IF we react bearish in this zone -> this could be the catalyst. If we break through this footprint and make a new HOD -> I get to wait till market open to see if it sets the new in statistic high of day. So with how we are printing in the pre market it is a loose copy of what happened yesterday... all stats stacking below with a potential of market open making a new HOD. If this happens I will do the same thing I did yesterday -> wait for 0930 to give me an obvious HOD or a mean reversion Trade Ideas: Scenario #1 - Price keeps pumping in the pre-market -> new in stat HOD -> price breaks below I will target extended cashflow shorts to the downside if price breaks above I will be cashflow heavy with only small 1-2 contracts for runners Scenario #2 - We start mean reverting in the pre market -> market opens near P12 mid -> break above market open will be CASHFLOW longs only nothing extended if we respect the 1800 HOD...if we break below I will take continuation shorts for new LOD Have a great day!
