TLDR: I’m no longer using twitter. This site used to be a great place for community, sharing ideas, and most importantly warmth. Sadly now it’s a hellscape of misery, trolls, misinformation, low-quality adverts and divisive engagement farming. It makes me sad, and I’m done.

The US Army's M10 Booker is being cancelled. Conceived as an assault gun, it was intended to support infantry brigade combat teams and make them more lethal. While this was a valid aspiration, it seems that it needed to be much lighter...

Experiment 2 went well with GPT 4o. Started to put together a JSON file for GPT to use to become more consistent. Vectorised, 3d mockups and even flipping the logo with amazing accuracy. Honestly 4o has changed the logo game. Comment below and I'll drop the JSON when it's ready! ⭐️

@basit_designs Oh yeah lovely, but I bet it'd test horribly. The important spec part is kind of secondary to some (lovely, but ultimately superfluous) graphics. This is a modal, so I'd assume you want to communicate a message as quickly as possible.

Preliminary indication is that we had an oxygen/fuel leak in the cavity above the ship engine firewall that was large enough to build pressure in excess of the vent capacity. Apart from obviously double-checking for leaks, we will add fire suppression to that volume and probably increase vent area. Nothing so far suggests pushing next launch past next month.
