Jalen Hurts Re-Watch Report Card: I initially gave Hurts a C- for his game against the Packers After re-watching it I bumped it up to a B I came away less concerned with Hurts and the passing offense than I did watching it live To me a bad QB game is filled with turnovers, inaccurate throws and missed opportunities. Hurts didn’t really have any of that. I could probably count on one hand the amount of missed opportunities and inaccurate throws in 24 drop backs. And he most importantly he didn’t turn it over. That is a solid game. I think the plan was to be conservative, protect the ball and ease Hurts back into the game after missing a month. I don’t think they wanted to throw the ball all over the field. I think that was smart. Hurts played exactly the kind of game I wanted him to play going into it. He didn’t take chances with the ball and he didn’t turn it over. He didn’t really throw any passes unless the receiver was wide open. I’m fine with that. It would be hypocritical for me to think that was the best way for him to approach the game and then rip him for not airing it out all game. I think the Eagles unexpectedly went up 10-0 quickly and from there knew the biggest goal was to protect the ball and Hurts did that. He took a bad sack but that was probably his worst play of the game. My one concern from the game is that there could be moments in this postseason where Hurts has to take more chances. If that moment comes and he doesn’t than it will be fair to criticize him, but I don’t think that is what will happen But until that moment comes I am mostly fine with Hurts playing how he did yesterday. If he doesn’t have any turnovers in the playoffs I bet the Eagles win the Super Bowl. No need to break up a formula that has worked all year.

To those trying to character assassinate me online for a bad pull in Diremaul WoW Hardcore. This is Hardcore WoW and a lot is on the line when you step foot into a dungeon. Here is a light breakdown of the last 24 hours. Our party went the wrong way and overpulled multiple packs with a boss. The shotcaller made the call to run then went back on that call. During the run out another pack was pulled as we had opted to skip it previously which is never a good thing. Communication was completely broken throughout this and it was our second time failing the dungeon. Everyone played poorly and two people ultimately lost their characters for it. Each person in this group made mistakes including myself. I have never once said I was perfect in my play nor that I was a god gamer. I'm just an ex-Blizzard employee that has played mage for a long time. To pin that on a single person is absurd at best and if you're calling for death and cancellation over it you're too invested in this content in a very unhealthy way. If you're a creator engaging in this kind of behavior then eventually your content wave will end but the relationships you've sullied will be permanent. Hope it was worth it for you. To those trying to defend me. Don't worry about it. This too shall pass. Do not attack anyone else on my behalf. I've always hated that kind of behavior. I have no intention of stopping making things or not doing stuff as I already have been. Those who were banned will stay so. I've never liked that kind of knee-jerk reaction behavior in our community before and I will not be changing that now. For those that don't understand why they will stay banned. We had a ten hour long hate-raid over it live on Twitch. We had to ban nearly 4,000 accounts across all platforms and our moderators received death threats regularly throughout it all. People called for me to be killed both in-game and out of game. They tried to get me banned from Twitch, the guild, and WoW. They tried to make disparaging comments about our ferret rescue or that we somehow hurt animals. They tried to spread rumors saying I was convicted of felonies and many other things. Jalen Hurts Re-Watch Report Card: Live I thought Jalen Hurts was extremely impressive and gave him an “A” for the game Re-watching it I think it was one of the best games Hurts has played in an Eagles uniform Hurts made the correct decisions with the football on nearly every snap, got rid of it quickly consistently and seemed to know exactly what he wanted to do on every snap. His accuracy was very good and after leaving so many plays on the field vs. Carolina it looked like he took advantage of nearly every big chance the Eagles had for a big play. He also took great care of the ball. His fumble was more the result of Watt than poor ball security. He saved one turnover by holding on when Watt got a clean shot at the ball. Of his 32 passes really only one was even close to being in danger. Outside of that he once again was elite at protecting the football. Hurts plays like this and the Eagles are going to be very, very hard to beat.
