@united @united yah. That’s cute. UA153 12H flight ended up taking over 29 hours. Finally landed LAX. 11PM now. Next flight boards at 4:25 AM. No hotel support. Here’s a labubu sleeping on the LAX carpet tonight.

@a_new_season_3 @united Really a sad state of affairs when a customer needs to complain on X and to get a reply from the social media team for a customer service issue.

@united Missed a connecting flight due to a @united delay. Was rebooked for 8 hours later. Gate agent said she couldn’t help me. Virtual agent asked me to find the flight numbers for earlier flights so she could look them up. Sent a DM to United with no response. wtf y’all

@united one of the worst experiences ever on UA153. Delayed out of Hong Kong, deferred to Honolulu. Now not enough staff to help everyone book their next flight. 12 hour flight will turn to 24+ for most travelers.

@SantiagoAuFund @dieworkwear Reminds me of Steinbeck’s Travels with Charley. There’s a line, “You got to be awful rich to dress as bad as you do".

Six years ago, ESPN assigned me a Lydia Ko profile. The assignment was originally how great she was and what historic a pace she was on. But by the time I finished with my reporting, it was clear to me that wasn’t the story. It was about a former prodigy who felt a little adrift.

Sometimes - you'll hate baseball. In 2021 I had a bad case of the throwing yips. Basically, I couldn't throw a baseball remotely accurately. I not only hated my job - I dreaded it.

@LouStagner Jack Nicklaus’ 1st putt on the 72nd hole of the 86 Masters is one of the best lags in history. Easy to overlook since so many other great shots/putts were struck on that back 9. But that first putt to within inches was cold blooded.

A lag putt that finishes within tap-in range is a GREAT putt. It does NOT matter if it's short of the hole. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

@NoLayingUp Would be cool if Data Golf could run final round hole by hole models of famous past tournaments such as the 1986 or 1996 Masters to see the different win probabilities of each contender down the stretch.

Norman going birdie-birdie-birdie-birdie on 14-17 only to bogey 18 is what should go on his tombstone.
