Be warned about Brian Sauve. He is a gifted man, he says some true things, and he has a fun spirit about him. But he is teaching unsound ideas. Against Ephesians 2, he is racializing the gospel.
Remember this warning:
"A little leaven leavens the whole lump" (Galatians 5:9).
Eli McGowan@elimcgowan
Two weeks ago, in a podcast episode where Brian Sauvé recommends men to marry equal or lower IQ women, and women to marry equal or higher IQ men, he also lists “race” separately (and first) from “culture” as something it’s important to be equally yoked in.

Mormons: We’re Christian
Me: No. You’re not.
Mormons: We are highly offended by that! How dare you say we aren’t Christian when we believe in Jesus.
Me: You use the name Jesus but reject core Christian beliefs about Jesus. You reject core Christian beliefs about a bunch of essential things. You tend to use the same vocabulary as us but with different definitions.
Mormons: Of course we reject your core beliefs. They are an abomination! This is why Joseph Smith said God told him did all your creeds are in abomination and that he couldn’t join any Christian group in the United States. It’s because you guys don’t know the truth about God and Joseph Smith had to restore the true gospel, fix the teachings you have from your corrupt Bible, and give us a host of new Scriptures.
Me: See, this is why I say you aren’t Christians. It’s not personal. It’s the foundation of Mormonism that you reject core Christian teachings about Jesus, salvation, God, the Bible, exaltation, and more. Joseph Smith made this clear. Brigham young said all Christians were apostates and it was only more recently you guys were told by your leaders to co-opt the name Christian. But it’s like a man trying to say he’s a woman. No, he’s not. That’s silly. He can be offended but it’s not rational and it’s actually harmful to pretend he’s a woman just to appease him.
Mormons: Mike, we believe in the Bible, Jesus, God the Father, salvation by faith, and all the stuff you believe. We just have a few more things you don’t know about yet. We have your beliefs and extra, because we are like complete Christians.
Me: You believe the Bible is corrupt in whatever ways it may challenge your theology. You believe Jesus wasn’t always God and that he’s the brother of Satan. You believe God wasn’t always God and that he became a God in the same way that you can become a God if you are considered worthy of it when you die. You believe in grace plus works which invalidates grace (Romans 11:6) and triggers Galatians 1’s anathema, saying that “we are saved by grace after all that we can DO.” You may not have realized it but your religion teaches you the same words as Christians but defines them in ways that actually reject our core beliefs.
Mormons: You don’t understand us. We believe what we believe and it’s Christian.
Me: I know some more modern Mormons will say they actually don’t hold to some of those things I mentioned but I have to treat Mormonism based on its Scriptures, apostles, and prophets, not its online apologists. Based on those things, it’s not Christian.
Mormon (version 1): Your ignorance and attitude are offensive and harmful. We are Christians.
Mormon (version 2): We are the true Christians and you are apostate. You and most Christians throughout history were not real Christians. Joseph Smith restored true Christianity after it fell away shortly after Jesus rose.
Me: Jesus, the real Jesus, paid the full price for your sins on the cross. You can be saved and forgiven and live eternally with God, the one and only God, by trusting in Christ’s works and not your own. Joseph was a modern false prophet. Run from him to Jesus.

Make America Protestant Again. 🇺🇸
Proud to be Southern Baptist. We’re not perfect but we are a bulwark for biblical and conservative values. May God raise up thousands of men to lead our churches, love the lost, and engage the civil square with the moral law of God.

Thousands of Southern Baptists overwhelmingly voted to advance a formal ban on women pastors in the nation’s largest Protestant denomination. cnn.it/3S3Ar4O

@DadWins_ @AdamPage85 "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to the [original] gospel we preached to you, let him be accursed!”
Galatians 1:8
English

We are all spirit brothers and sisters, children of God. Jesus is His only begotten son in the flesh, and was chosen from the beginning to pay for our sins. He definitely is co-eternal with His Father.
I imagine that both our friends are actually the same Will, even though you can’t see it.
I pray we can both know Christ better than we currently do.
English

@DadWins_ @AdamPage85 The Christian Jesus is the one that is co-eternal with the Father and not a spirit brother of Satan.
Just like my friend Will is different from your friend Will - but the difference is of eternal importance with Jesus.
Praying for you to know Him.

@RyanMillard35 @AdamPage85 Oh, I was talking about this one. Not sure which one you are talking about.

@WilliamWolfe @BaptistLeaders I’m happy to support CBL. A great return on investment. I’ve seen first hand the impact that they have had on the SBC. I personally don’t believe the T&U amendment happens this week if not for CBL.
Keep it up, @WilliamWolfe!
English

I genuinely might be one of the most slandered figures in the SBC.
But that's okay, because the issues we staked out with @BaptistLeaders, and even before that existed, have been the issues that *everyone* in the SBC has to talk about and address.
> The fake "abuse crisis" and its political weaponization - we've won on that narrative
> The radical Leftism of Russell Moore and Brent Leatherwood and the mismanagement of the ERLC - we won on that, Leatherwood isn't there anymore, and the ERLC is going to radically change, or it's over
> the Women pastors crisis - @AmReformer backed Mike Law, the one year he actually *won* (without any help from leading figures), and then CBL has helped keep the issue alive every year since
> the need for financial transparency from our entities - we are slowly but surely winning on that, it's not going away any time soon
> rooting out wokeness and anti-White racism/pro-CRT garbage at our entities. That's coming to an end, too
And on and on. And of course, it's not just us, many other orgs and people work on these issues, but there is something about how *I* get treated in the public discourse.
We are winning. It's come at great personal cost, but nonetheless, we are winning.
CBL hosted one of the largest affinity group side-events at the SBC two years in a row, both in 2024 when we *doubled* the attendance that the ERLC had at a concurrent event, and again in 2025 with another huge gathering.
We aren't doing a big event this year for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that I lost almost the entire month of May dealing with major issues on the home front and caring for my wife as she was in and out of the hospital multiple times with postpartum complications.
But ignore, mock, and belittle me at your own peril, gents.
The moderates and liberals in the SBC know they can't win on the issues, so they pivot immediately to personal attacks. Which is what happened even today.
The truth is that, for months now, Josh Powell's supporters have said far, far worse things about me than I have ever said about Powell.
I challenge anyone to find anything other than manly, fair disagreement with his vision of and for the SBC in anything we've published at CBL or anything I've said on my personal account.
Many of the lines of attack impugn my motives, question my faith, mischaracterize my political views, or are just "guilt by association."
Hypocritically, the attacks come from the same side and from the same voices that bemoan "online negativity." That goes out the window as soon as they come after someone to their Right, of course.
It's definitely tiresome. And there's no doubt these bad actors have had some success in trying to paint me outside of the bounds of "acceptable conversation partners" in the SBC.
And when they can't do it themselves, they recruit SPLC-funded Leftists like Phil Williams to do it. Yawn. Get better material.
I'm sorry, the political activists on the moderate and Left wing of the SBC aren't just going to get a free pass to reshape the SBC into their soft-woke image.
We are going to fight for a better, more biblical, and actually Baptist SBC.
And we are going to win.
Jon Whitehead@jrwhitehead
…@WilliamWolfe has actually edited @deaninserra examples out of some of my articles, to promote unity in the SBC? William is human, but there’s a fever-dream caricature of him running around some SBC GCs.

@albertmohler @pastorclint You have the votes. This will pass. But please, for the sake of future generations of the SBC, fix this.

@Jacob_Naviaux This is NOT the Christian way. Retrading can certainly be ethical, but the way you describe this is grimy. Not above reproach.

Fixer upper gets listed for $250k.
I offer $180k with 3% commission — I’m a licensed agent and my company is the buyer.
Plan is to wholesale it for $190k. Needs $75k in work and will be worth $320k after repairs.
Listing agent says too low.
4 weeks later our CRM notifies me the list price dropped to $225k. I follow up. Agent still says $180k is too low.
Another month goes by. CRM notifies me again — price drops to $210k. I follow up. Agent says they think it’ll work.
I draft the offer, send it over, and it gets accepted.
We price the deal at $190k and sell it — signed contract and EMD in hand.
While we’re still in DD, I tell the agent my buyer needs a $20k price reduction to move forward, but they’re ready to wire EM and waive the rest of DD.
Seller meets us halfway. Price drops to $170k.
We make $25k.
That’s the exact play we run wholesaling MLS properties.
