#Howeout I've seen enough... No doubt Gillespie, Burn, Schar will all get new contracts in the summer. Everything is so stale. How the fuck we've gone from producing the best No.9's in the league, to Will Osula is a fucking embarrassment

I want you to name a Newcastle player you think people under 30 wouldn't know. First team or even reserves. I'll start it off with Fumaca.

Name a player that has at least one cap for England. 🚫 The ONLY rule... They can't have been named by anyone else previously.

@HLTCO In. The resurrection of Joelinton and Schar, the way he got Isak playing, the emergance of Miley. Definitely deserves to stay.

Newcastle fans following me, I’m curious… Are you Eddie Howe in or Eddie Howe out? I’ve seen a fair bit of chatter saying that fans are turning on him, is that the case? If so, I’d be genuinely interested to know why. It’s always better to ask those who watch every week.

@iamtomskinner Today's news is tomorrow's chip paper. People get forgotten about quickly and it will be someone else's turn soon. It's the way the media goes.

The press really done a job on me last year. At times it felt like they were trying to make me Britain’s most unpopular man, and sometimes when I read some of the comments I get on here now….i think they might just have done that 😂🙈 I hardly ever got any trolls…but recently…… bloody hell! 🙈 I wish I’d never spent thousands on PR firm last year who pushed into doing stories that didn’t feel right with me. I trusted the process, and I trusted people who said they knew best….. but looking back, they never helped me. They probably was adding fuel to the fire, I will never know. If I’m gonna be completely honest, the whole thing has knocked me. More than I admit. I’m gonna start talking about that, because I don’t think I dealt with it properly. I’ve made plenty of mistakes. I own that. But it felt like once the media and press got their claws into me, I couldn’t win. No matter what I did, it was twisted, exaggerated and most of it completely untrue. I’ve worked so hard for what I have in life, I never had a penny ten years ago. Fighting is all I know. But it’s knocked the wind out of me a bit. I try to carry on spreading my positivity for everyone. But today I’m having a down evening. I’m writing this because I just went to the shop to grab milk for the twins, and a bloke buying bread stopped me. He said, “Keep your chin up, son. People round here know you’re a good lad.” And that just finished me, because every time I get stopped by strangers … it’s always the first thing they mention about the press I’ve received. Them journalists are nasty bits of work for what they put me and my family through. I’m feeling a bit down this evening if I’m honest. But the one thing I do know is how strong me and my wife are. We’ve been tested, proper tested, but we’re still standing, still together, still fighting for our family. My wife is my rock and she means so much to me. A beautiful mother and loving wife a she keeps our little family unit going. Good night an god bless. I just felt like I needed to get that out there. Maybe it’s the reason I’m so passionate about the walks I’ve been doing, because I need them as much as anyone. Thanks for reading. Sending you all love. Bosh❤️

@brianst56278796 I've been coaching 5 years now Stapes & I can tell u,some of my best players now were well below developmental level 5 years ago. I use Milner & Ash Young as prime examples of what hard work and dedication can do. It's not all about step overs and skills. It's about dedication.

The Sporting Resource@TheS_Resource

Alex Inglethorpe, Liverpool’s Academy Director, is blunt about early ranking, it’s almost meaningless. What a player is at 9, 12 or 13 tells you almost nothing about what they can become. ➠ Trent Alexander-Arnold not number one in his group. ➠ Connor Bradley not number one in his group. ➠ Jarell Quansah not number one in his group at that time. And you could go through all of them. Every now and again you see the obvious one, Jude Bellingham at Birmingham and Rooney at Everton. Clear standouts who stayed standouts. They exist, but they’re the exception. ⇢ Harry Kane shows the reality. At Tottenham at 13 he was middle of the group at best. Not on the podium. Gold and silver medalist Harry Kane wasn’t anywhere near it according to Alex Inglethorpe when he was at Tottenham Academy then. Then Brad Friedel came in one day and said “he finishes like Robbie Fowler”. ➝ No backlift. ➝ Hits the ball hard. ➝ Finds corners. That single comment shifted the perspective. These players didn’t announce themselves as prodigies, they grew. They changed physically, mentally, technically, socially. Someone recognised the direction they were moving in, not the snapshot they were frozen in. That’s often (not always) core coaching failure at youth level, adults obsess over the podium instead of the trajectory. ⁃ The best at 12 is often the earliest developer. ⁃ The middle is often the one with the longer runway. ⁃ The worst is often the one carrying the biggest biological gap. Alex Inglethorpe’s message is brutal but accurate: 🔴 Stop judging children by where they sit in the pack. 🔴 Start judging them by what their behaviours, mindset and habits suggest they might become.
