I've watched the 2nd Panthers goal about 20 times since the game ended. That may have been the most useless I've seen Nurse and Bouchard on a goal all year, ALL YEAR. They both try to hit him, then they both ignore him, watch the play, get/stay out of the way and he scores.

Now we know why the Oilers lost the last two Cups. The Panthers showed up ready to compete, and the Oilers had 0 Emotion. I’m seriously questioning the leadership group—this core showed no urgency, no emotion, and got completely outcoached. @JasonGregor

@mathewjdp They give way to much up in the slot and at the net. Externally passive defence in those areas. They need to make those areas hard to get to and be there. Passive D = soft. Need to beat harder on th other teams. That is coaching kk is a soft.

I'll just post the whole video. This lady came to harass us. The video starts when Karen was asking her to be respectful. I started filming, because the sight of a camera usually gets them to back off. She ripped my shirt while trying to grab my phone. I'm used to filming. I'm loud because it was super windy, and I wanted to make sure my voice was recorded. I was also pissed that she ripped my shirt. 1/

@mathewjdp I would disagree with there dzone. The blues are not a strong offensive team and there were way to many scrambles in there own zone. There structure was very bad at times and the slot was open far to often. There d zone habits are atrocious. They miss Gully, kk is avg nhl coach

I missed the 3rd + OT last night. Rewatched it and I have a few notes. Not the ideal 3rd period but Edm wasn't poor. Ingram had a good game, Hofer stole a win. Edm once again with an overall good defensive game. Great offensive game. Edm has scored 36 goals in their last 8 before facing Stl, they were due to fall off a slight bit despite playing well. Hofer proved that, as well as poor finishing otherwise. Slot shots were 21 to 13 for Edm (16 being league avg). Keep that consistency and things will go well. A few specific plays Edm can clean up and things will get better. Lastly, Edm's PP is on the downtrend and I've noticed Edm's lack of pucks down low being a likely huge contributor to that. When pucks are behind the D, all players are blind to the other 4 opponents on the ice. Edm can be quicker, and move the puck more. Use all 5 guys. 97 + 29 + 2 are brilliant, but a 3 vs 4 isn't the winning recipe. Overall Edm continues to play well. As long as they make the playoffs, I am happy. This kind of play enables them a potential deep run.
