That was a criminal act for which the criminal was arrested/convicted, as he should have been. The system works. The system is not one or even a few cops.

@FrankLuntz They do pass the same screening, only its a lower standard for the military. If your a convict you can join the military in many cases. If your a convict you will not pass a civilian background check to buy a civilian AR-15.

Should civilians have to pass the same training and screening requirements before obtaining a rifle as Ms. Endonoz did?

I don't think there are any "good guys" with AR-15s. It's only used to massacre people. I think every civilian owner of an AR-15 is unhinged, can't wait to use it and is a danger to everyone around them. And are almost certainly insecure in their manhood.

Watched the press conference. Police official says the shooter was outside the school shooting randomly for 12 minutes. Walks in school. Police follow four minutes later. They "receive fire," retreat, and wait AN HOUR for backup while children are slaughtered. Utterly damning.
