Writing about one of my fave #seaside buildings today - @hippodromeGY. With terracotta ornament featuring birds, foliage and some incredible hair styles it's the best example of #ArtNouveau on the coast. Designed by Ralph Scott Cockrill it opened in July 1903. #Edwardian #circus

I'd never seen one. As a small, this fascinated me: but he'd calmly go through its mechanics time after time, humouring me.
