"Just hold" is the worst advice in trading. I'm probably going to piss some people off with this but I don't care. Every pullback, someone says it. Every correction, there it is. "Just hold. It'll come back. Don't panic sell." Here's the thing - sometimes it doesn't come back. And even when it does, you might be so broken by then that you sell anyway. Real example: Guy I know bought at $80. Good company, decent fundamentals, all that. Drops to $70. Everyone tells him "just hold." Drops to $60. "I'm long term, I'm holding." Drops to $50. He's down almost 40% now. Getting nervous. But everyone keeps saying hold. A year later it climbs back to $65. He sells. Just happy to be "only" down 18%. Stock's at $95 today. Nobody talks about this part: "just hold" only works if you sized it right from the start. You put 40% of your account in one stock? You can't hold through a 50% drop. Your brain won't let you. You'll sell at the bottom. Overleveraged? Can't hold. You'll get forced out. No real thesis beyond "good company"? Can't hold because you don't even know what you're holding FOR. "Just hold" is what people say when they have no plan. What actually works: Know why you bought. Real thesis, not just vibes. Know where you're wrong. Have a stop. Size it so you can actually stomach the swings. Check if your thesis still makes sense. If it breaks, get out. I've held through 20% pullbacks that doubled because I knew exactly why I owned them and didn't size like an idiot. I've also cut 8% losses because the reason I bought it stopped being true. "Just hold" isn't a strategy. It's cope. Have a plan. Size right. Know your exits. Then you can hold through the noise.

The market was 💩 since October. Several sectors and many individual stocks had major 40-50-% corrections and are still very much in corrective territory even after the recent rebound. That doesn’t feel euphoric to me. But I’m being genuine here… would love to know why you feel that way?

Market is comical now. Nothing else matters but the war From Oct to Feb there were a list of things stopping it from going up. Then came the war taking markets lower. April has been quite a month. This is too much winning for the market.

As you know, I'm a huge fan of riding this space sector momentum until the SpaceX IPO happens. Gives us 2-3 months (speculatively) to absolutely print money. I've just opened a starter position in $ASTI for 100,000 shares (~$500k). Here's a quick breakdown of the technical thesis: Two new BDs have just appeared on the 1D, confirmed at closing today (unlikely to be invalidated). As you've seen with every single call I've made, the real move begins after BDs are confirmed. A new Weekly BD just appeared as well... confirms upon the candle closing. Which leaves us with two BDs that can still appear; in short, way more room to run. And most importantly, there is quite literally no resistance until we start approaching $20 (~4x from here). 400% sounds pretty nice. Will likely add more shares as Blue Diamonds are confirmed along the way, and will share updates each step of the way, as usual. Still bullish on the rest of the space sector as well, bought the dip today on $SATL $SIDU and $SPIR. Let's rally!

The market is confused. $FLY is an AI missile defense software stock with launch and moon economy upside. Scitec's 40% of the business is FCF and EBITDA positive. Find me another space stock where a primary division isn't losing more money than a SigEp at Vegas formal.

@retail_mourinho Foolish and pompous. If you bought ASTS or RKLB sub 10, and never sold, you would see how patience rewards smart investors. Instead, you will buy ASTS back at 90s or so, when in reality if you just held the hold time, you’d be better off.

I will trim $ASTS at $150 before the SpaceX IPO and buy back in the double digits. I plan to do the same with my other stocks: $NBIS, $ONDS, and $RKLB. I probably hold $KRKNF as I expect a rerating after uplisting. We are in a new era of the market. Growth stocks are experiencing repeated 40–50% pullbacks every 3–6 months. Not trimming at the highs and adding on the dips is irresponsible. I know people say „you can’t time the market“ bla bla bla, bullshit, these pullbacks are brutal, and they happen when the stock is near all-time highs. You have to adapt to new circumstances. The market is more volatile than ever before. With Trump, AI, wars, acceleration in every aspect, things have changed. Taiwan will be next. -RM

It’s a great company. Focus on fundamentals Ronnie not technicals. The banking sector definitely doesn’t look line an inverted cup and handle breakout. Plus the retail here is all hyped up about this name which means there’s a guaranteed short squeeze. I’m full porting $30 weekly calls for easy profits.
