@JohnniesBoard @SchwaderZag62 Other things to consider, Gonzaga has a 27+ year history of making the tournament, the same coach for those years, multiple former players in the NBA, and they play a great pre season schedule. Also for a guy from Senegal, Spokane, Wash is a very easy manageable place to live.

Can people stop pretending to know how Diop’s decision went down or that Gonzaga is a poor choice? We’re no better than Gonzaga as a basketball program. 5 years ago, we would’ve never imagined a world where we’re competing w/ Gonzaga to land one of the best centers in CBB. Bottom line — Gonzaga is a great program too. They’ve developed tons of successful NBA big men. They also have a HOF coach. They have made the NCAA Tournament consistently over the past 25 years w/ some deep runs. They didn’t land Diop by luck. They created a CBB powerhouse, known for churning talented NBA big men at a school with 5k students. Tip your cap to the Zags’ & stop the bitter coping. #SJUBB

@Patrick48539284 @NYPost_Brazille Same weather as it is in NY. I grew up in the Bronx first 22 years. Then spent 45 years in Spokane. Good place to live, manageable, weather almost identical to the Bronx. Gonzaga program has been excellent for past 27 years, same coach.

@dlynnbergs In this NIL era getting attached to these guys is futile. In this case it certainly isn’t a minutes issue because Innocenti was averaging over 30 minutes a game. Many times playing the entire game. Could be money, the weather difference, the conference, who knows.
