Is anyone else genuinely concerned at how prudish and puritanical everyone has seemingly become? Every other argument about a movie/Show being bad these days is because it had a sex scene or some nudity and it's like my brother in christ you're in your 20's why are you like this?

But Harley IS a stupid prostitute.
And it’s not sexist to point out that some women, particularly damaged women, get ahead by using their sexuality.
If this person weren’t being myopic, they’d realize it says something pretty disgusting about the men that give into such simple manipulation as well. Harley is prostituting herself, yes… but men that should know better and are supposedly pillars of the community are being DUPED by a prostitute.
And then Harley, the manipulator, meets an even better manipulator in The Joker.
Tale as old as time. As you sow, so shall you reap.
Just because a later generation of empty-headed ninnies decided “Harley is me!” and chose to hold her up as if she was a role model doesn’t change, or even invalidate, what her creators intended her to be.

my problem with invincible is that it’s just regular old fashioned capeshit trying to elevate itself to a primetime drama. it’s trying to be bigger than the source material, which is why all of its budget seems to have gone to voice acting instead of animation

Sorry but NYC is the only real city in America. It is the only place where you can comfortably not own a car. Many other places used to be cities, but they were all turned into large suburbs with some skyscrapers and a sports stadium owned by a bank. Sad but true.

I think NYC really suffers from being the only Real City in a country of 300 million people. Manhattan has become a sort of City Disney Land for kids from Florida and Ohio. There is no other place to fulfill the fantasy.
