Your fury does not justify actions that run counter to free speech or to the principles expressed in the opening line of your pinned tweet. Amnesty’s report was shoddy and ideological, but it was still an exercise of speech that should be protected. Using the UK’s broken libel laws against it weakens free expression for everyone and creates a precedent that will eventually be used against you and your allies.

I’m often tickled by press articles asserting that I’m furious about things that actually gave me a proper belly laugh. This time, though, knock yourselves out. Amnesty’s attack on Beira’s Place has left me burning with the kind of fury that mounts with every passing hour.
