Then the @latimes contacted me directly and, with permission from my multiple sources, independently confirmed my reporting. On the day of the Islamic Center attack, the @SanDiegoPD Northern Division reportedly had just 7 officers working despite a minimum staffing level of 14. At 9:42 a.m. Cain Clark’s mother called police reporting her son had taken guns from the family safe and left a note saying “this is going to happen anyways.” Police did not arrive until 11:10 a.m. By 11:42 a.m. the attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego had already begun. This is what happens when Democrats gut public safety, slash staffing, burn out officers, openly attack them for political reasons and funnel taxpayer money into pet projects, consultants, and political vanity virtual signaling programs while citizens cry out for help during an active terror threat.
