Nomad Sculpt on desktop Procreate coming to Mac Callipeg Studio coming to desktop Wafer on Ipad AND desktop Us Ipad to PC users eating good this year so far. But somehow, I’m still wishing and hoping for my homie to come back from the dead @Valence3D

Was just thinking about this today, wondering when we'd get any announcement of the desktop app. Callipeg will be joining the ranks of Nomad Sculpt and CSP soon with its upcoming desktop app. As much as I love ToonSquid, the cross platform option of Callipeg is intriguing me.

Well well well, look who FINALLY made it possible to texture custom 3D models in their art app. Took you long enough CSP! Not enough for me to switch over from SP on PC or the new Wafer on Ipad for 3D painting, but as far as a solid drawing app, I'm loving the new update!

@_creativeisaiah Hi-hi. As promised, here is a little video showcasing use of mask layer in Wafer. After playing around some more, I think I have a better understanding of how to use it after trying to follow the developer's instructions. Hopefully it helps!

@_creativeisaiah You should jump back in. The server created a new channel for Wafer and folks have been talking, sharing stuff they learnt while learning the app and asking questions so it'd be good to check it out and get in on the learning fun XD

@SC_Squiggles Im in, but i dont utilize it as often as i should.

16K texture painting on a 2015 1st Gen 9.7-inch iPad Pro, the least powerful iPad with Apple Pencil support. Wafer’s tool performance is barely affected by texture resolution or layer count. It is also optimized to run efficiently on low-memory devices.

@_creativeisaiah Cool. Well as of now, the app gives you a chance of testing the app before committing to purchase. In the trial, you can do everything EXCEPT save your work.

@SC_Squiggles Nice. I have CozyBlanket and uniform. This app specifically looks like it can eventually be a nice alternative to Adobe's... If i can texture on my ipad with a similar workflow as I do using substance painter, that would be amazing

@_creativeisaiah If you want further, better clarification, I suggest joining the official Sparseal discord. There you can ask the developer directly in the server and get your answers straight from the source :)

@SC_Squiggles Can you make a video explaining it? If you don't mind of course. Also, does it have AO baking?

@_creativeisaiah As someone who's been playing around with it since it dropped yesterday, it DOES have layer masking. It just ... works a little differently than how one might expect so there's a bit of a learning curve. But that was my experience.

Not what I was expecting to wake up to today. So far, I will say it definitely looks VERY promising. The UI is simple and easy to maneuver, and the default brushes are nice so far. Will not know for sure until I actually test it on something. But overall, I'm intrigued!

@alinalal_ Share your cheats, cheater 😂I wanna be a cheater too! But in all seriousness, I love seeing 3D artists use 3D in their 2D illustration work. Question, what are you using for the characters reference models? They look posable.

... Colour me intrigued. That texture painter is looking very promising to me. Also is this gonna be an all in one? I'm seeing rigging and animation stuff and what looks to be game simulation??? And is that VFX??? Sir you can't just tease greatness and walk away. No fair!

@MorphinApp First of all, happy birthday to you m'dude! Hope you're enjoying it! Secondly, is that a texture painter I see? PLEASE, PLEASE tell me it has a Base Colour only mode for handpainters. No lighting info of any kind while I paint. Please don't make the same mistake as Procreate.

@Robert_Townsend It's a shame we never got so much as a sequel to this movie. I loved Up, Up and Away as a kid and wanted it to be continued. But it was always just a one off Disney Channel Original movie :/
