Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, and I don’t support language that falls short of that.
I’m standing to represent everyone in Rutherglen, Cambuslang and Blantyre, and that’s the standard I’ll hold myself to.
My focus in this election is on the issues people raise day to day: cost of living, local services and community cohesion.

Today I submitted my nomination to stand as a candidate for Rutherglen and Cambuslang. The paperwork is now in, and I’m looking forward to continuing with the campaign over the final 6 weeks. I may have been the first of the Glasgow candidates to get it submitted, it's good to be organised. I’ve also been spending time going through policy in detail, focusing on the issues that matter most to people locally: healthcare, the cost of living, and stronger communities. The direction being set out by @Malcolm_Offord and the wider team is a positive step forward for Scotland. I’ll be back out speaking to residents over the coming days and continuing to build a campaign focused on real, practical concerns.
