Help me understand the reasoning behind why the GOP is choosing to not passing the SAVE Act. What is the logic here? Why wouldn't the GOP want secure elections where only citizens can vote? It makes no sense... ...unless certain members of the GOP believe they can't be elected again if the SAVE Act passes I can think of no other logical possibility. The only other possibility here, which would be truly insane, is that the GOP don't want to pass the SAVE Act because they don't WANT to win the midterms... ...they want to lose the midterms and use the Democrat's insanity as a fundraising mechanism without having to do the hard work as a governing party BUT If the Democrats win the midterms, they will immediately NUKE the filibuster and ram through all the insanity they want None of this makes sense to me unless the GOP truly do not understand HOW HIGH the stakes are in this election. I truly do not understand any other logical scenarios that make sense. What am I missing?
