The guards dragged the man off. He was still smiling. As they were commanded, each day they made the prisoner fight. On the first day, armed with only a net and a stick, he fought an opponent with a spear. The next day, with only a small rope, he fought two swordsmen. And so on, he was forced to fight every day. At the end of the week, the prisoner was in a real sorry state. He could barely blink, let alone smile.  The head guard came to Caesar. "Oh, Caesar, I  have come to report on the prisoner. We made him fight each day, using the most basic weapons, like a, er, you know, whaddaya call it?" "Gladiator?" said Caesar. The guard snickered, "No, he actually quite regrets it now."

Web3 is a world on its own, and honestly, it can be jealous of time. Leave it for days, and you start missing out. Miss out too much, frustration sets in. Then discouragement. Then silence. That’s why one thing kept coming up in my conversations with chads: no matter how busy you are, you still have to show up daily, even if it’s small. One person who stressed this point clearly that's @fadedreen, said: “No matter what, no matter how 😂, just show up.” Another perspective that really made sense came from @Enibrisky He said seeing Web3 as a borrowed course helps a lot. It’s not your main course in school, but you still can’t afford to fail it. Just like borrowed courses in schools, you won’t give it the same attention as your main courses, but you also won’t ignore it completely so that you won't carry it over Then @Callme_Fade came with a different angle. She said the best way to survive is TO BE CRAZY, not literally, but in mindset. The same way energy drinks or stimulants make you feel like you can push beyond limits, you need that same driven mindset in life. Know exactly what you want, lock in, and keep going. Not equal time for everything, but enough intention to combine both worlds. And this line stuck with me: Web3 doesn’t reward casual interest. It rewards intentional effort. Then there’s @CryptofxOG, honestly one of my biggest inspirations. What made his story special to me it's that he was a medical student just like I am now, yet a lord in Web3. And despite building seriously in web3, he didn't fail or resist any course through out med school. That alone says a lot. I was privileged to hear from him too. He shared that at the beginning of a semester, he usually goes hard on Web3; doing the right things intentionally, not trying to do everything. Then as the semester progresses towards the middle, especially as his in-course exams approaches, he gradually slows down; not quitting, just adjusting, because his medical degree cannot be jeopardized at the expense of Web3. He also mentioned something very important: even when the money isn’t coming yet, you still need to keep showing up. Volunteering in communities, contributing meaningfully, building connections, all of these matter in the long run. According to him, Web3 is people’s profession, not a joke. And honestly, I’ll end Day 3 with this: Once you see Web3 as “something I’ll do when I’m free,” you’ll always be left behind. But when you see it as “something I’m deliberately building towards” ~ emphasis on towards, even without results yet, your mindset changes. Your actions change. Your consistency becomes intentional. Tomorrow, we'll be rounding this up with more insights from other chads and clearer solutions on how time management actually helps in balancing Web3 and academics.
