@virginiahume Last night, 6th June, I took a moment to walk to the war memorial in Swanage and took a photo looking out to the beach of the memorial plaque dedicated to the US 1st Infantry division. A lone piper was playing, such a beautiful moment. We will not forget.

On land it was mostly business, but John Kelly, Jr, captain of Company F said he and Lt. Hume briefly joked that “was not like the Grosvenor or the Grange.” (Their favorite watering holes back in Swanage, England).

@chrisdysonHT The problem with these questions is that tactical voting is key in some constituencies. The ballot paper vote may not be for our preferred party, but done to help them gain power. As you say bring on the election.

When in New York I raided the garment district, visiting lots of independent fabric/seamstress shops looking for fabrics I couldn’t find here for some of my craft projects. My not so little haul that I had to buy hand luggage for to accommodate the weight 😂🩷🩷

A friend of mine is telling me that if we go to see Barbie we have to wear pink. Is this true or is she winding me up? I like pink, I sometimes wear pink but is everyone really going to the Barbie film wearing pink? I'm not sure I can cope with that! 😂😂

True story: an excellent secondary science specialist was told he had to inspect EY. Said he didn't feel it was right as he knew nothing about it. Trainer recommended he went to the sand & said to the EY staff 'ah, dry sand. Tell me about the use of wet sand.'

@CollinsTeach SEN teacher and have always had school branded polos/ fleeces/ jumpers. Happy to wear these as they are practical, smart and I don’t need to worry about my own clothes being spoilt. Also no stress about what to wear each day.

I am@using this in my new complaint to the LGO. 3 years later there has been absolutely no progress within our local SEND team. I would argue they are even more unprofessional. This time it’s really simple, amendments to a EHCP the incompetence is staggering …

Yesterday I spoke to the Govt Ombudsman. It’s now taken 1+year to amend an EHCP. In one version another child’s name is used. The LA failed to meet the deadline set by mediation. A final EHCP was issued w’out our consultation. This is my desired outcome for all SEN CYP

@SensibleSENCO Ooh that was a very big question to ask and quite subjective. It’s a great idea to try and collect the variety of questions asked by inspectors in all different settings. I liked that our questions could be supported with evidence and related to the CoP.

An interesting survey to complete. Personally, the focus needs to be on supporting teens. Our experiences this year have been truly shocking, support is coming from schools and not our local adoption agency or Cahms.
