It would be strange if everything in life had a fixed purpose (e.g. to cut hair or to chop wood) but human beings are the ones that set their own purpose. And of course Muslims know what that fixed purpose is.

The examples given prove the exact opposite of the point they're trying to make. The razor and axe have a fixed purpose yet the conclusion is that humans each have a distinct purpose when really it should say that humans have the same purpose just like all axes and all razors.
