Isaiah 10: 1-3 Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless. What will you do on the day of reckoning...

(8/10) The failure to anticipate and prepare for Iran weaponizing the Strait of Hormuz puts us literally at the bottom of the barrel. Markets (oil, LNG, stocks, bonds, fertilizer, helium) and munitions (offensive and defensive) will dictate when President Trump feels compelled to declare victory and walk away, but with Iran controlling the Strait. Maybe a negotiation can fix that, but with what concessions to Iran? Or we can double down, at huge risk.

(6/10) So far, we’ve traded an 86-year-old Ayatollah Khamenei for a 56-year-old Ayatollah Khamenei, empowered hardliners, and sidelined pragmatists. The regime could fall in five days or five years. And to be replaced by what?

(3/10) In short: President Trump made a terrible decision to tear up the Iran nuclear deal (“JCPOA”) in 2017 and replace it with nothing. The Obama Administration put Iran’s nuclear program in a box, President Trump let it out.

(4/10) What would have happened if President Trump had just left the JCPOA in place? When the JCPOA expired, it could be extended or renegotiated, as with most arms control agreements. If Iran refused, the U.S. would still retain the military option, with a lot more information about Iran’s program, because of the most intrusive inspections ever.

As with everything with Donald Trump, it always comes down to money. His money. And that's the only real priority he has, even when it's our national security at stake.

Trump ended military support for Ukraine. It was a direct betrayal of the Budapest Memorandum. But now it gets even worse. European nations raised $750 million to buy U.S. weapons for Ukraine. They sent the money. And now Trump refuses to deliver because of the war he started with Iran. A war involving Iran is no longer just about the Middle East. It is reshaping the battlefield in Ukraine as well.

Operation Epic Fail. 10 years ago in March 2016, Mitt Romney warned Trump's foreign policies would make America and the world less safe, and that because of Trump, America would cease to be a shining city on a hill. His predictions are holding up pretty well, unfortunately.

Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI. Twice. Now, Trump cronies at DOJ pay him $1.25 million of your taxpayer money to reward him for his corrupt loyalty. The federal government … as racketeering organization.

@RobertClark62 A disgrace. Paid by Putin- who literally is the *sole* existential threat to America (from outside, anyway) and Erdogan. Amazing that a LTG feels it’s honorable to collude with the RU ambassador to subvert our sovereignty, to lie about it, to violate FARA, and to play victim.

Requirements for stuff like this are *normally* identified during the pre-war planning process. That this didn't happen against a widely known threat is yet another indicator of a truncated, half-ass planning process for EPIC FURY.

The Trump Admin has terminated security assistance funding to Ukraine. They literally haven't done shit for Ukraine except trying to strongarm them into a surrender. Allowing the Euros to buy our weapons in commercial transactions & then gift them to Ukraine isn't the signpost of an ally. It's the signpost of mercantilism. Rubio is a lying POS.
Department of State@StateDept

SECRETARY RUBIO: The U.S. is constantly asked to help in wars and we have. But when we had a need, it didn’t get positive responses from NATO. A couple leaders said that Iran was not Europe’s war. Well, Ukraine isn’t our war, yet we’ve contributed more to that fight than anyone.

Both the NYT story below and the Washington Post don't tell you what Flynn's alleged false statements were. I think there's a good reason for that omission. The dominant media narrative back then, and that of the guilty plea, was that Flynn had lied about discussing US sanctions with the Russian ambassador, Kislyak. When the transcripts of his calls with Kislyak were finally released in May 2020, they showed that in all of Flynn's multiple conversations with Kislyak in December 2016 and January 2017, the issue of sanctions only got one fleeting mention – by Kislyak. Because those transcripts were kept private throughout the Russiagate saga, anonymous officials, the Mueller team, and Russiagate stenographers turned this into an imaginary scandal wherein Flynn had floated a payback for Russia's alleged 2016 election help and lied to cover it up. And this came after FBI officials essentially entrapped Flynn, as one FBI agent on the Mueller team, William Barnett, later complained about. Flynn therefore had grounds to fight this case and receive a settlement. And not only did it fuel Trump-Russia conspiracy innuendo, it helped further criminalize diplomacy with another nuclear-armed power.

Trump's Justice Department has agreed to pay Michael Flynn $1.25 million in taxpayer money even though he pleaded guilty twice to making false statements to FBI agents about his interactions with Russian officials. @alanfeuer nytimes.com/2026/03/25/us/…

BREAKING: Flynn Family statement about today’s DOJ settlement regarding my case. ______________ Today, after ten years of fighting, I have reached a settlement agreement with the United States Government in my case regarding the Russian Hoax FBI lawfare against me. Nothing can fully compensate for the hell that my family and I have endured over these many years—the relentless attacks, the destruction of reputations, the financial ruin, and the profound personal toll inflicted upon us all. No amount of money or formal resolution can erase the pain caused by a prosecution that should never have been brought. This ordeal stemmed from partisan government officials in a coordinated effort to pursue an innocent man as part of a broader campaign to undermine @realDonaldTrump and his administration. It was a relentless, partisan pursuit that weaponized federal law enforcement in an audacious and unjust manner. Yet this settlement goes far in demonstrating that the current Department of Justice, under the leadership of President Trump, Attorney General Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Blanche, and other dedicated departmental leaders, is committed to bringing accountability for the bad acts of those partisan actors. It marks a meaningful step toward righting a profound wrong. There should never again be such a brazen attempt to weaponize federal law enforcement against political opponents or innocent citizens. It is essential that we remain guardians of the rule of law. A huge part of that guardianship is accountability, holding those who abuse power to answer for their actions. It is not this Department of Justice that created this crisis of politicized justice, but they are doing right by truly pursuing justice now—ensuring that the facts prevail and that such abuses are not repeated. This resolution, while imperfect, brings to an end this chapter of injustice. This small measure of accountability should help the nation heal regarding the abuses of the past. It allows my family and me to move forward. My family and I remain grateful for the support of so many who stood by us. It was their support and our faith in God Almighty that sustained us and gave us the strength to endure. I will continue to advocate for the restoration of integrity in all our institutions. @jbinnall @SidneyPowell1
