@GeauxReadBooks You're in for a treat. Both of these series are amazing. I couldn't put FatF down. I read it all in two weeks. Bloodsworn is equally as good. The other series is a slight notch down but still very good with excellent characters

So I haven’t read any John Gwynne yet. I was planning on reading The Faithful and The Fallen first then move on to Bloodsworn, but since the announcement of book three I’m wanting to read Bloodsworn first. I plan to read both regardless. Where should I start?

@SoCal_Chemistry I think the problem is more a case of people not wanting to cook. Loads of vegetables are cheap. Frozen vegetables are great for veg you don't use often. Rice and pasta are cheap. Herbs and spices are cheap. Some fruits are cheap per kg.

@BookishBenny I've never contemplated putting down big books like Stormlight and Kingkiller Chronicle. I'd love them to go on forever. If it has enough of your attention, you'll find your way back to it at a more suitable time.

@BookishBenny Move on to another read & come back to it if you want to. Time's limited & you can't read everything, there's nothing wrong with a DNF. In fantasy we read a lot of big books, it's irrelevant, reading is about enjoyment, and if you're enjoying a book you probably want it to be big

@NickRevws @Wendys I hate this format because it's not just a little surge it's a ridiculous one. I remember being out once and a friend took ill, around 3 am, and Uber wanted £70 for a 4 mile trip... 20 minutes! Needless to say, I called a taxi firm instead.
