Just look her up though - this is her work. She works for a lot of different organizations. They didn’t just find a random grandmother. She’s an activist and author. I would ask, therefore, was she paid or did the office of the mayor give a donation to the organizations she works for or buy a lot of her books for example… :)

Worth noting that Chan took these visible stands while she held public office, during a time when local zionist groups were literally driving genocide-critics into hiding. But where was Saikat? Absolutely silent throughout the period when it mattered to be vocal the most.
