By the way, what a boost for our players to hear Celtic are so scared they’ll resort to underhanded shite like this to try to gain an advantage.

Good morning PAYE Pigs! Up and at em! As you drag your sorry carcasses into the office this fine morning in an honest attempt to barely break even or even worse - struggle to make ends meet - whilst more than half the country sits on its collective arse doing nothing, know this: Britain has, quietly, crossed the Rubicon. 52.6% of households now receive more from the state than they pay in. The majority of people you see today are net recipients. The minority (you) fund it. This means it can no longer be accurately labelled as just a “welfare system”, in fact what we have is a demographic pyramid scheme with better branding. The numbers, for anyone still pretending: • 8.4m on Universal Credit, Feb 2026. Highest ever. • Up from 5.5m in March 2022. 53% rise in under four years. • ~20% of the working-age population now on UC. • 50% of UC claimants are in the “no work requirements” regime. • 4.2m working-age adults on UC, not required to look for work. • Two-child cap lifted this month. Numbers about to accelerate. • UC uplift for 2026/27 above inflation. Baked in. Now consider the net contributor base: • 52.6% of households net recipient. 47% net contributor. • 35.1m individuals in net recipient households, +4m since pre-Covid. • 89% of retirees in net claimant households. 46% of non-retirees, and rising. • Strip out children, students, dependents: genuine net contributors are ~35-40% of adults. • Net recipience was 37% of households in 1977. It’s 52.6% today. • Net recipient headcount up ~11m since 2000. • Growing fastest among working-age people. Ageing isn’t the driver. Wage stagnation since 2008 is. The net contributor base is structurally too small to fund the commitments. Fiscal drag is buying time, not solving anything. The bond market will deliver the verdict the political class refuses to. A majority of the country votes for a system that takes more from the minority than the minority can sustainably give. Call that equilibrium what it is: a run rate. Run rates have terminal values. Ours is being priced at the long end of the curve in real time, and nobody in Westminster has the stomach to read the chart. Starmer is done, what follows will be much much worse. This picture will deteriorate faster and harder. Britain is cooked… 👀 👇

I’ve had my issues with Michael Stewart, over the years, but this decision by the SFA is bang out of order. The SFA do have previous for this sort of behaviour but for me they’ve gone too far. You may not like or agree with Michael but he’s entitled to his opinion.

🚨 BREAKING: No 10 says Keir Starmer was not aware that Peter Mandelson failed security vetting "The security vetting process for Peter Mandelson was sponsored by the FCDO. The decision to grant Developed Vetting to Peter Mandelson against the recommendation of UK Security Vetting was taken by officials in the FCDO. "Neither the Prime Minister, nor any Government Minister, was aware that Peter Mandelson was granted Developed Vetting against the advice of UK Security Vetting until earlier this week. "Once the Prime Minister was informed he immediately instructed officials to establish the facts about why the Developed Vetting was granted, in order to enact plans to update the House of Commons. "The Government is committed to complying with the Humble Address in full as soon as possible. Any documentation within the scope of the Humble Address that requires redaction on the basis of national security or international relations will be provided to the ISC. This will include documents provided to the FCDO by UK Security Vetting"

The UK just issued £15 billion of debt in a single day. The largest gilt issuance in British history. At the highest yield in nearly twenty years. That yield is not a number. It is the bond market's verdict on Britain. It is saying we will lend to you but we want more return because we do not trust where this ends. The 30 year gilt is now at 5.49%. The government will be paying that rate for thirty years. On debt it is taking on today to pay interest on debt it took on yesterday. That is not a fiscal strategy. That is a country that has run out of road. And is borrowing to pretend otherwise. The bond market always knows first. It knew in 2022 before Truss resigned. It knows now, and so does Bitcoin...

Further to the below realisation that @scotgov and @GlasgowCC are using loopholes in homelessness policy to enable illegal migrants many rights which even Scottish people have to fight tooth and nail to receive, I have recently read a first hand experience, from a follower, which utterly exposes the extent of the replacement of illegal migrants from other parts of the UK, into Glasgow. Due to the open loopholes which this 'Homeless Persons Order 2022' enables, we are spending millions servicing criminal activities. I absolutely trust the integrity of this person and I know the hard work and personal time that they have devoted to helping homeless people in Scotland. It's a damning indictment of how much waste our taxes are frittered away, into. "I volunteered at a homeless shelter in Glasgow. The vast majority of refugees were Sudanese. They all tell other Sudanese about the shelter. They travel from Wales, Blackpool, Derby to go to it. It partners with the @GovanLawCentre. That’s what they come for. They’re given N.I. numbers, so they can work, but, instead they come to Glasgow, get legal aid etc. etc. It cost the Glasgow Council (tax payer) £3.25 million in appeals, alone. They get people to sign an NDA, but I didn’t sign it. Why would a homeless shelter get volunteers to sign an NDA, unless they wanted to keep their practices quiet? That one shelter is delivering loads of single, Sudanese men to Glasgow. To the homeless list." The enablement and relocation of illegal immigrants, who evidently do not come here to integrate, to work, nor to pay their way is a deep deep trough which must be dredged fully. Thank you to my anon friend for sharing this. I hope it reaches far and wide. @RupertLowe10 @CraigHouston_

Immigrants who arrive in Glasgow are selectively treated under The Homeless Persons (Suspension of Referrals between Local Authorities) (Scotland) Order 2022 (SSI 2022/356). This was made by Holyrood (the Scottish Parliament), not Westminster (the UK Parliament). Key details: It was made by Scottish Ministers using powers granted under the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 (a Scottish law). The draft was laid before the Scottish Parliament, scrutinised by a Scottish Parliament committee (Social Justice and Social Security Committee), and approved by a resolution of the Scottish Parliament on 16 November 2022. It came into force on 29 November 2022. This is devolved legislation on housing and homelessness policy, which is a matter fully devolved to Scotland. Westminster had no role in creating or passing this specific Order.84c3b4 The underlying framework (the 1987 Act) dates back to before devolution but has been amended and used by successive Scottish Governments. The 2022 suspension of referrals between Scottish local authorities was a deliberate policy choice by the Scottish Government to give homeless applicants more choice about where they apply for help. So where immigration (as the landing of small boats on Dover shores is indeed an England problem, as soon as they arrive in Scotland, they are treated under the homelessness act. That is the choice of @scotgov. It actually goes further, however, enforcing councils to accept homeless immigrants from outwith their own regional boundaries. No Steve, it is not a reserved issue. @Stevo71Tate have a balloon 🎈
