We're never getting a solo Mothra, Rodan, Hedorah, Ghidorah, Gigan, or whoever movie, considering many fans can't even accept a show that FEATURES Godzilla without having him as the primary focus.

Crazy, so many fans beg for MonsterVerse films about Rodan, Shimo, whoever, but then RAGE about Monarch not being a 24/7 Godzilla fight. Godzilla and Kong exist within this world. It's great to see how the world responds to them. Neither is more important than the other.

If Godzilla's 2014-2019 absence is the ONE thing theyre not gonna toss to the wind my hope was that they'd do something cool with it either way- but a dream sequence is lame imo

You can't make a scene like that and not break the continuity/retconing it without making it a dream sequence.

@RickDaSquirrel_ I think its akin to a paradox of sorts. Given that Suzuki and Shaw are at the same rift he escaped from initially it'll be a loop where they help young Shaw escape but inevertedly release the Ion Dragon again or something lol
