In every single project I've ever worked at, over the long term, CEX listings have never led to anything good. KOLs and "advisors" will always say you need deep liquidity, so they can dump their bags clandestine on your community. MMs will be predators enriching themselves while demanding endless tokens and cash for "MM liquidity and services", CEXs will try to hold you hostage threatening delistings. Fuck'em all. Not needed.

@multichainmarco Maybe because it’s easier to airdrop their own pUSD token on a new chain than USDC? If anything, migrating to a new token makes life much easier when you’re moving • airdrop new pUSD • remove USD backing of pUSD on Polygon • only pUSD on new chain is backed Seems logical?

I wonder why Polymarket would deploy pUSD on Polygon to move to a different blockchain or their own within a 65-day timeframe. Its not making any sense to me. #polygon #polymarket $pol

Honestly one of the biggest points is that projects literally sacrifice their tokens in order to maintain big CEX listings that probably aren’t providing as much value as they’re losing in arbitrage. Moving to an on-chain CLOB/AMM hybrid model saves so much money, and probably the token. .. it’s also much harder to manipulate a dex pool given it needs real funds. With a CEX/order book if there are no orders (organic markets) it’s super easy to manipulate the price
