The message from District officials is very clear: The Ntlafatsa Bana Social protection project is transformative and contributing to SDGs. The ownership and leadership of the gvt is humbling @DeepakBhas @SHagueUNICEF @Nwinderrossi @EUinLesotho
unicef Lesotho@UnicefLesotho

Happening Now! The Ministry of Gender, Youth, & Social Development, with support from @EUinLesotho & @UnicefLesotho, is hosting a reflection workshop to assess progress of the Ntlafatsa Bana Programme, gather insights & strengthen coordination across government levels & sectors.

2024 has to be the year we reshape the global financial 'architecture' - does it make sense that the countries where most of the world's poorest children live have the highest levels of debt? - Sub-Saharan Africa has 29 countries with debt over 50% of GDP imf.org/en/Publication…

On #MigrantsDay we call for protection of rights of all child migrants. Respecting the right to family life, ending detention & reducing discrimination are in the best interests of every child. Discriminating against migrant children, is unacceptable. #ForEveryChild Inclusion
