Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects …

NEW: Artemis 2 crew explains the difficulty of sleeping during their mission to the Moon. Question: “What does sleeping even look like?” Answer: “It’s actually sorta comical. Christina has been sleeping heads down in the middle of the vehicle, kinda like a bat suspended from our docking tunnel.”

On this day in 1931 the college football world lost one of the greatest minds in football in the history of the game! Knute Rockne was killed at the age of 43 on Flight TWA 599 when the wooden structure of one wing failed, causing the aircraft to crash, killing all eight people on board, including Rockne. The crash brought about significant changes in airplane safety and the airplane industry. The death of Rockne and the crash's effect on the public perception of the safety of aircraft contributed to its cultural significance. The Fokker F-10 belonging to Transcontinental and Western Air crashed near Bazaar, Kansas after taking off from Kansas City Municipal Airport, Kansas City, Missouri. Below is a video of Rockne’s funeral at Notre Dame. RIP Knute Rockne 3/4/1888-3/31/1931 🎥 Getty Images

Western Michigan basketball is closing in on its next head coach, and Kahil Fennell, the head coach at University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, has emerged as the front runner, sources are telling me. The deal isn't finalized, but it's quickly trending in that direction.

Nick Saban: "We need to come up with a system... to allow student athletes in all sports, including women's and olympic sports, to enhance their quality of life, while going to college — but still provide opportunity to advance themselves beyond their athletic career."

Lou Holtz
Lou Holtz@CoachLouHoltz88·
Louis Leo “Lou” Holtz, legendary college football coach, Hall of Famer, bestselling author, and one of America’s most influential motivational voices, has passed away at the age of 89 in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by family. Born January 6, 1937, in Follansbee, West Virginia, Holtz rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected figures in college athletics. Over a remarkable five‑decade career, he led college programs at William & Mary, NC State, Arkansas, Minnesota, Notre Dame, and South Carolina.  He transformed every team he inherited and captured the 1988 National Championship with the Fighting Irish. Holtz was preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than 50 years, Beth, with whom he shared a life grounded in faith, devotion, and service.   Holtz is remembered for his enduring values of faith, family, service, and an unwavering belief in the potential of others. His influence extended far beyond the football field through the Holtz Charitable Foundation and the many players, colleagues, and communities shaped by his leadership. He is survived by his four children, nine grandchildren, and two great‑grandchildren. Funeral arrangements, including a Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame, will be announced as details are finalized. The Holtz Family

Happy Birthday to the man who built Notre Dame Football into a national powerhouse as Head Coach from 1918 to 1930. He was a player (1911–1913) and assistant coach before becoming head coach, pioneering the forward pass and securing five undefeated seasons and six national championships. What better way to celebrate than to watch this Rockne Locker room speech to inspire his players to a victory! ☘️
