I genuinely think he has a chance to beat Andy Burnham, even though the Greens and Lib Dems are looking to not put anyone up or "go easy" on Burnham
Rob is also a working class Veteran who is from the area unlike Burnham who isn't.
Thoughts?

The Makerfield constituency deserves a local champion. I can’t wait to get started. 🇬🇧

@beverleyturner @RachelReevesMP @labour They always come out with that don't they... how much they love their country... despite evidence to the contrary...
English

How did they NOT KNOW that you CAN'T put @RachelReevesMP on a garage forecourt and expect her NOT to be heckled ???
Do @labour have NO IDEA HOW MUCH THEY ARE DESPISED ??
They no longer appeal to anyone - even those who voted for them.
And that wasn't "bad manners" - it was trying to be heard. There is a difference.
The common complaint is that they don't listen. Exhibit A.
Ben Leo@Benleo
OH DEAR Rachel Reeves heckled by white van man as she visits a petrol station. “Get Starmer out! Get Labour out! You’re ruining the country! Are you going to arrest me for having an England flag? Get Farage in!” She lectures the guy about “manners”

@Con_Tomlinson Little mention of how the said shops get past HMRC registration, council planning applications, health and safety, business insurance etc...
These business set ups happen for the same reasons the rape gangs happened... turning the other way...
English

Wow, look at that.
Another "Far Right" conspiracy theory that the government now acknowledges, years after imported criminal networks are entrenched and completely preventable crimes have been committed.
If you want to spot the "dodgy shops", here's a hint: they're new, have neon signs and no customers, and are staffed by bored Pashtuns.
Just like Nayib Bukele identifying MS-13 members using face tattoos, you can eyeball it and hit a money laundering front for drugs and people smuggling every time.
Home Office@ukhomeoffice
A new High Street Organised Crime Unit will target rogue shops like barbers and vape stores to tackle organised crime on our high streets. The unit will work with police to identify gaps in enforcement and stop criminals setting up their networks in the first place.
English

@ukhomeoffice You're aware any new shop needs to register with HMRC right ? They need business ins', planning app's through the councils, health and safety etc...
Who passes all of this ? Does anyone scrutinise any application ? Are there ANY checks ?
English

@KathyConWom I hope not- as most lie about their past- or at the very least- embellish their CV somewhat...

@BBCBreakfast There are obvious links to the said crimes- as usual rarely mentioned. However, I'd like to see investigations into the planning and passing of applications.
A shop requires registration with HMRC, licenses are needed from local council, business insurance etc.
Who passes them ?

@daveatherton @TRobinsonNewEra @NickFerrariLBC So, he wasn't there and has no idea of the breakdown of the arrests or to which march - if any- they were attributed to. They wonder why they got a kicking in the local elections...
English

David Lammy calls everyone at Tommy @TRobinsonNewEra's rally a racist. Asked by @NickFerrariLBC was Lammy was there, and he said no.
Lammy then plays the "we've been mates for years" routine. Ferrari complies.
Disgusting bias.

Britain has 17.5 million hectares of agricultural land.
65% of it cannot grow a single crop.
Too thin. Too high. Too wet. Too steep. The kind of slope where a tractor becomes a story they tell in the village pub for generations.
It grows grass. Because grass is what evolved to grow there.
The cow eats the grass. The sheep eats the grass.
Your stomach cannot eat the grass.
Take the ruminants off and the food production from that land becomes zero.
Not lower.
Zero.
The ruminant is not blocking a better option.
The ruminant is the only option.
The activist who wants the ruminant removed is not reducing meat consumption.
He is outsourcing it. To Brazilian feedlots on cleared rainforest, shipped six thousand miles in a refrigerated container.
The British hill goes to bracken.
The Amazon goes to soy.
The supermarket label changes from Hereford to Mato Grosso.
This is presented as the ethical position.
It is the most expensively packaged self-deception in modern politics.

Silence and reflection brings uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. This can be frightening. It might lead you to a painful truth you have been trying hard to avoid. That’s why so few of us do it.

Woman who's raised horses in Ohio for 30 years: “I've never had to deal with these many ticks.”
“I can't take the tick situation anymore. The tick situation in this state, there are ticks everywhere.”
Nearly everyone points the finger at Bill Gates. Why? The Gates Foundation is funding tick research.
They even backed a biotech, Oxitec, to study genetically altering cattle ticks.
Farmers say they're finding whole “boxes of ticks” on their land.
People argue that because Gates funds tick research, a surge in ticks could benefit vaccine and product sales.
There’s a well-documented tick explosion hitting Ohio this spring (of 2026), especially for livestock owners.
Ohio now has a new tick species — from basically one medically important species 20 years ago to five today, some of which expand rapidly.
Lyme cases have exploded: 40 in 2010 → 415 in 2020 → 2,800+ in 2025, with 2026 already looking high.
Keep in mind, a Lyme vaccine is in development — no ticks, no market for it.
You're not going to believe who's making it: Pfizer and Valneva

The UK just deployed a political weapon it's only used once before in modern history.
And nobody is talking about what it just backfired into.
🚨 🚨 🚨 KEIR STARMER BANNED FOREIGN JOURNALISTS FROM ENGLAND TO STOP A RALLY → IT PRODUCED THE LARGEST ANTI-GOVERNMENT MARCH IN YEARS 🚨 🚨 🚨
The Home Office issued entry bans on 11 foreign nationals ahead of the 16 May 'Unite the Kingdom' rally in central London. Rebel News founder Ezra Levant. Multiple journalists. Commentators. Banned from the country. To stop a march.
Metropolitan Police deployed 4,000+ officers. Live facial recognition. Drones. Dogs. Horses.
The result: tens of thousands — some estimates reaching hundreds of thousands — flooding the streets of London anyway.
THE WEAPON:
→ UK Home Office entry bans — 11 foreign nationals barred from the country
→ Prime Minister publicly labeled the rally "extremist" and "hatred and division"
→ Starmer framed it as "a battle for the soul of our nation" in direct pre-rally statements
→ Police mobilized at a scale typically reserved for state visits or terror threats
→ Live facial recognition deployed across central London
→ Rival pro-Palestine march simultaneously permitted on the same day
→ Metropolitan Police prepared for 50,000 — the actual crowd exceeded preparation
→ Government rhetoric amplified international media attention across the US and Europe
THE TARGET:
→ A march organized around "national unity, free speech, and Christian values"
→ Organized weeks after Reform UK seized 1,350+ council seats and control of 13 councils in the 8 May local elections
→ Reform's gains came primarily at Labour's direct expense — Essex, Sunderland, council after council
THE MATH:
→ Reform UK: 1,350+ seats gained in a single election cycle
→ 13 councils flipped — including Essex with 42 seats
→ Starmer's response: ban journalists, deploy 4,000 officers, call the march extremist
→ Outcome: the bans became the story, the march became a symbol, and the streets filled anyway
Read that again.
💀 Every ban Starmer issued handed organizers a government-censorship narrative
💀 Every officer deployed turned a political rally into a national confrontation
💀 The suppression didn't shrink the movement — it advertised it
⚠️ Reform just proved it can win elections. The march proved it can also fill streets.
⚠️ Starmer called it "a battle for the soul of our nation" — and then lost the visual battle on live television
⚠️ This isn't a fringe moment. This is what a political realignment looks like in the streets.
They're showing you the arrests and the police lines.
They're NOT showing you what this sequence actually means — a government that just lost 1,350 council seats in one night responded to the aftermath by banning journalists and calling a march extremist, and the streets answered with the largest visible opposition mobilization in years.
You don't ban foreign journalists to stop a fringe event. You ban foreign journalists when you're afraid of what the footage will show. And you only deploy 4,000 officers with drones and facial recognition when you already know the crowd is going to be too large to ignore.
Process that.
Most people won't see this. RT to change that. 🔥
I'll keep you updated as this unfolds, turn on notifications this is EXTREMELY important.
