एआरआई में हिंदी कार्यशाला का आयोजन दिनांक 24 मार्च 2026 को आघारकर अनुसंधान संस्थान, पुणे में तिमाही हिंदी कार्यशाला का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यशाला भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय के राजभाषा विभाग द्वारा निर्धारित लक्ष्यों के अनुरूप आयोजित की गई। इस अवसर पर श्री मनीष धनंजय रामटेके, सहायक निदेशक (राजभाषा), महानिदेशक लेखापरीक्षा (रक्षा सेवाएं), पुणे ने विशेषज्ञ वक्ता के रूप में अपने विचार साझा किए। कार्यशाला का विषय था: “संसदीय राजभाषा समिति के निरीक्षण से संबंधित निरीक्षण प्रश्नावली” कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभागियों ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया तथा राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण पहलुओं पर विस्तृत चर्चा हुई।

National Science Day 2026 at ARI On National Science Day 2026, themed “Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat”, the Agharkar Research Institute (ARI), Pune celebrated the spirit of scientific inquiry and reaffirmed its commitment to research-driven sustainable development. We were honoured to host Dr. Sangita M. Kasture, Scientist ‘G’, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, as the Chief Guest on 27 February 2026. The programme commenced with a motivating welcome address by Dr. Prashant K. Dhakephalkar, Director, ARI. He highlighted the relevance of National Science Day in fostering scientific temper and innovation, and paid tribute to Sir C. V. Raman, whose discovery of the Raman Effect marked a historic milestone in Indian science and continues to inspire generations. In her insightful oration, Dr. Kasture spoke about India’s rapid progress in renewable energy, including bioenergy, green hydrogen, and solar power. She emphasized the importance of scientific innovation, strong policy support, and institutional research in accelerating the clean energy transition and advancing the vision of Viksit Bharat. The Guest also visited ARI’s Biohydrogen Production Facility and other laboratories, engaging in meaningful discussions on translational research and future collaborations. At the Open House & Exhibition, research divisions showcased innovative projects and outreach initiatives, fostering dynamic interactions with scientists, scholars, and students. Together, we celebrate science, innovation, and the transformative role of women in shaping India’s sustainable future.

Media Briefing: "Glad to announce a formal agreement between the Technology Development Board (TDB) and Visakhapatnam-based Industry partner "Ramuka Global Eco Work Private Limited" for commercial production of ECOFIX, a ready-to-use pothole repair mix. Fashioned on PPP model, out of a total cost of Rs 197 crore, Rs 95 crore will be borne by the Govt of India through TDB. The new "Steel" slag–based technology is particularly recommended for difficult and hilly terrains, for sustainable road construction. Compared to conventional road construction methodologies, it is more durable, about 20 % cheaper, enables faster work pace with lesser timelines, is environmentally friendly, the work can be undertaken instantly, and lives up to the concept of 'Waste to Wealth' so often reiterated by PM @narendramodi. Pilot projects were conducted at Surat in Gujarat and parts of the Northeast, including Arunachal Pradesh. Since then, Steel slag–based road repair solutions have been used to varying extents in states like Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh. However, the application remains limited in the Himalayan States and UTs, and need to be accelerated through targeted outreach and training. Workshops planned in the Hill States/UTs beginning from Jammu & Kashmir next week".
