But he touches on something interesting here that I have not seen discussed at length outside of cloistered and seemingly secure circles. Because I am half retarded on my father's side, I'm going to discuss it here in the open. Why has the Trump regime expanded ICE to the degree they have? Any monocausal hip shot answer you throw out may be right or wrong (probably wrong, I'm not the only halftard running these streets), but it most definitely won't be the whole reason. I love high speed internet discourse and analysis, I have for all of my adult life. But one intensely glaring blind spot it has created in a lot of us is the inability to pick certain ideas and concepts back up after they have been deboonked, memeified, or charlatanized. Some ideas are all bad and deserve to be abandoned, but that's actually pretty rare. Most bad ideas are actually fairly okay or even good ideas that just landed too early or too late. I'm not trying to stray into relativism here, but there is a substantial amount of hidden utility in being able to dust off bankrupt concepts, rearrange the aspects, slap on a new coat of paint, and see if the time is right. 4D chess. I'm not invoking this term to once again reassert the idea that Trump is brilliant (he is), rather I only want you to attempt to look at this situation (ICE enforcement), or any situation, as a single chess move that occurs on three different game boards: the short-term board, the intermediate-term board, and the long-term board. All powerful people play 4D chess. They have to, because those three distinct game boards are always present and never ending. Prior to digitization, there was more latitude to consider moves. Prior to electrification, there was an embarrassment of riches in terms of planning time and assessment periods. Prior to modern metallurgy, moves on the short term board reflected across the other two boards with incredibly high fidelity. Do you remember when Budweiser (Imbev) put that disgusting freak sodomite out as the face of their piss water brand? Which game board do you think they were hyper focused on? Which game board do you think that move had the most profound influence on? Did that move on the board open up more moves, or close off more avenues to moves? Use the 3 Boards Lens to view the decisions/endeavors of any powerful person, group, or entity, and it starts to make a bit more sense why being incremental, as least offensive as possible, and lowest common denominator is the order of the day, and has been so for a while. The complexity of move—counter-move has gotten ridiculous, so much so that most of our spiritually moribund elite will be on an AI mind leash in 5 years or less, just to keep the mansions, vacations, and lifestyles intact, never mind actually building great things or doing great things. Long way round the barn. ICE and 4D Chess: the Trump Regime has built a domestic force using extant law, policy, process, precedent, and, most critically, EXPECTATION, as the foundation for a thing we've not had in this country ever, as far as I understand it. Dispense with your personal perspective of what ICE might be, and try to think about it as if the last 10 years it's just the opening exposition scene for a miniseries about a made-up country in a fantastical universe. The Trump Regime has built an army of dedicated, patriotic, professional, fit, and motivated people whose primary concern is identifying, locating, detaining, and mitigating pernicious threats to Order and American Identity. Is it an insurance policy? Is it an army? Is it a threat? Maybe all these, and quite likely more. Trump is thinking generationally. You should too. Semper schizo.
