Been getting a lot of messages from people asking whether they should join the military or not, which branch, etc. Everyone’s different, but a young BTR in 2025 is joining ICE. That’s where all the action is right now. Nothing against the military, but there are no firefights or cool missions to be had, just a bunch of JRTC and NTC exercises. Even SOF is just sitting around training for contingency missions that’ll never happen. If you have the internal higher calling, go where the action is. That’s the only way to scratch that itch.
