@piersmorgan @benshapiro Much like if you support Palestine having a recognised sovereign country you are accused of being a terrorist sympathiser. Because grifters like you have made millions of polarising society by dumbing it down with click bait gotchas. Rather than educating ppl on complex things

I criticise all governments, especially my own. I just don’t understand why I can’t criticise Israel’s govt without being branded anti-Semitic or having the likes of @benshapiro throwing their petulant toys out of the stroller. It’s absurd.
Elle@courtesyrules

@piersmorgan @benshapiro It’s funny how some people obsess on criticising the government of a tiny country, the ONLY Jewish State, yet choose to ignore the hundreds of disgusting governments elsewhere in the world. There’s a name for that!

BREAKING: Donald Trump backs Keir Starmer’s Chagos deal - despite previously describing it as an act of “great stupidity”. UK had argued that US president’s u-turn was linked to his Greenland plans, and that US official position hadn’t actually changed. Seems they were right.

President Trump turning on the charm now in Davos. He’s such a mercurial figure, capable of tremendously negative hostility and tremendously positive friendliness in the same 24hrs with the same people. (He’s done that with me a few times!) - all part of the ‘Art of the Deal.’

Lammy says that to reduce the court backlog he has ‘no alternative’ but to slash jury trials. That just not true. Today 70 court rooms sit empty across England and Wales. Get our courts open and sitting around the clock.

I spoke to the farmer's rally after today's Budget speech, supporting them in opposition to the Government's changes to inheritance tax last year. Unfortunately, very few Labour MPs seem to understand just how important farmers are to the rural economy and the countryside.

When he was PM, Major used to complain about 'back seat driving' from Lady Thatcher. Maybe he ought to stop doing the same? Kemi B voted Leave. The Tory Party, and the Right of British politics generally, supports Brexit. If he doesn't like that, perhaps it would be fairer to everyone if he joined a party that actually shared his views?
Antonello Guerrera@antoguerrera

Extraordinary words by Sir John Major on #Brexit at LSE last night: 🧵 🇬🇧 🇪🇺 1. “In an act of collective folly, the United Kingdom voted to lead to European Union across the world, our enemies celebrated and our friends despair.” “We left Europe on a minority vote of 37% of the election after a referendum campaign that was packed with misinformation and misjudgment, it left our country poorer, weaker and divorced from the richest free trade market that history has ever seen. National interest was brushed aside by false hopes and promises”. “False hopes and promises that even a cabinet dominated by front line Brexit enthusiasts was unable to deliver the promises they made, […] while the forecast damage of leaving the European Union has become only too apparent. The nation saw Project Fear become Project Reality very easily. It's no consolation that the majority of the public now overwhelmingly recognizes that it was mislead in their moments of triumph.” “Brexiteers predicted other countries would follow their lead and leave the European Union. None have. All saw only too clearly that Brexit was packed with disadvantages, as we meet far from others leaving the European Union, as we meet nine further nations now wish to join the European Union, which is an apt comment on how the world saw Britain's decision.” “United Kingdom once reveled, not long ago, within the memory of everyone present in this room, once reveled in being a leading member of the European Union with half a billion citizens and the undoubted first ally of the United States, the world's most eminent superpower. Today, we know we are neither, and so does the world”.

@BBCRosAtkins Yes the pressure has been building. But from where? Promoted by far right factions promoted often from abroad and by their associates in the right wing press. Is the bbc honestly going to pander to this?

I’m so shocked by the huge quantity of social media posts and clips of woke left fanatics gleefully celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder. It’s so brazen, so dehumanised, so disgusting. What the f*ck is wrong with these people? Elon Musk is right - wokeism is an insidious virus.
