I guess this is what happens when you use hay to mulch your garlic for winter. Into the bin!

So the science behind chickens “egg song” is that in the wild the rooster moves the flock around a large area finding them food to eat and keeps them safe. The rooster escorts the hen to a safe nest area to lay her eggs when she’s ready to do so. Then the rooster goes back to the flock. Then once the hen is done laying her egg she calls out in the egg song to the rooster for him to come find her to escort her back to the flock. If the other hens in the flock hear her calling out for the rooster they start calling out to tell her where the flock is in case the rooster doesn’t come for her.

My wife just made from scratch cheese. The milk came from our dairy goats. No hormones, no antibiotics, no chemicals, just real food. I am so proud of her. @themonahendrix

Don't harm opossums! They’re harmless and actually really useful. They keep pests in check (eating ticks, roaches, rats, and scorpions), clean up dead animals, and help spread seeds. Basically, they’re nature’s cleanup crew
