This research focuses on differences between immigrants (new and established) & Canadian born populations. (Of course this includes all ethnicities). Yet the conversation keeps drifting into race, (of the new immigrant kind) something every fair minded Canadian should reject.
Michael@OneTooManyMikes

@SMITHCGARY Why are you making this about race?

I can’t in good conscience reduce everything to race. If that’s the path some choose, so be it. We get what we deserve. We invest in global markets & benefit from their success, do we stop to ask who created that value? Turning to protectionism will only hold us back as a country
Michael@OneTooManyMikes

@SMITHCGARY @CanTrueCrime @CityNewsTO Well it does not specify how they got their money. So maybe read it again before judging something it didn't say?

@CityNewsTO Because the government keeps stealing money from hard working Canadians and giving it to people who shouldn't be here in the first place.

That Canada has strong talent does not negate the need for more top talent brought from elsewhere. If money can come from India or Middle East or Africa, why not talent? Patriotism is about doing what’s good for the nation selflessly!
Michelle Phillips@Michphil1998

@SMITHCGARY So you’re implying that Canada doesn’t already have enough intelligent people to give these scholarships to and so we’re forced to import them from foreign countries and bribe them with scholarships to come to Canada? Wow, talk about being non patriotic!

You are displaying hate! Other than that it’s an illogical poorly thought through comment. Intellectual Capital has infinite potential to create shareholder economic value. Investment $$ is good but extractive. You need both. But $$ is easier to get then talent!
Michelle Phillips@Michphil1998

Mark Carney goes to India and the outcome is that Canadian tax payers get to fund 200 Indians on full ride scholarships to our universities and to be flooded by more non English speaking foreigners. The USA get a refinery funded by India. Please though, do go on about how Carney is such a great negotiator!

@MarkJCarney A practical political option is to focus on individuals with proven criminal activity. Identify, investigate & prosecute them under existing laws. Targeted sanctions, asset freezes, legal penalties can be faster and more effective than lengthy institutional battles.

@JigglyPants44 @CailinasEirinn @PierrePoilievre may have consolidated his caucus, but popular support tells a different story. Pivoting toward identity based outreach to boost votes is backfiring. Reading of Canadian sentiment in a tariff driven world also appears as an outside in view of domestic challenges.

One more JIHADI group whose overt anti semitic behaviour is so obnoxious. @MayorOliviaChow has actively encouraged this hatred to win votes. @BradMBradford must boldly call out & speak up. @jerryagar1010.
