In a changing world where social inequalities have been on the rise, especially with the onset of COVID 19, persons with psychosocial disabilities & mental health conditions have been projected to prejudices which have barred recovery and caused distress.

#MHHumanrights This is compounded by social exclusion, stigma, lack of support services & discrimination which makes it difficult to access basic services and opportunities like education, employment and access to mental health services & programs.

Mental health has become an area of great concern across the world,Kenya is not an exemption.The pandemic period has highlighted inequalities in economic opportunities,education,food security,social exclusion, discrimination,access to affordable health services of decent quality.
