Reimagining the data economy through the power of the Pulse Permissions Protocol® Chainlink BUILD partner

On Monday, November 4th, 2024, we had the honour of attending @TheDigitalCom_X Summit at the prestigious Mansion House in Central London. This annual event is a must for anyone in the blockchain and Web3 space, especially with the U.S. elections taking place the following day, setting a unique and impactful context for the discussions on the UK’s leadership role in crypto and blockchain. Samuel Chen, Co-Founder of Kula, flew in from the United States to deliver a keynote that resonated deeply with the audience. He discussed a “New Era of Web3 Impact,” exploring three essential pillars: Impact, Technology, and Governance. Samuel highlighted Kula’s latest milestones, specifically our groundbreaking work in real-world asset tokenisation. He also shared insights into our recent major contracts in Nepal, where we’re enabling digital asset support for large-scale hydropower projects, all while ensuring our alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Excitingly, Samuel also shared that Kula has been shortlisted for the Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA) Award and Chris Turner will soon pitch in Bangkok, Thailand—a testament to our commitment to leveraging blockchain for real-world impact. The keynote and event was attended by some of the most influential voices in the industry, including Lord Holmes (UK House of Lords), Laura Navaratnam (Crypto Council for Innovation), Sophia Shluger (@pv01_markets), David Song (Global Counsel), Helen Disney (Unblocked), 🤖Wayne Lloyd (@SMTRcontracts), Charlotte Tregunna (Peters and Peters), Charles Kerrigan (CMS Law Firm), Katie Ramsey (DBT Capital), The Hon Albert Isola CBE, Dr Lisa Cameron (Global Legislators Forum in Digital Assets), Joey Garcia (@xapobankapp), Matt Hawkins (@CUDOS_), Mike Blake-Crawford (@WorldMobileTeam), Edan Yago (@BTC_OS), George Tucker (@cryptocom), William Harvey (@Bullish), Jeff H. (@coinpass), Blake Player (@VALRdotcom). Special thanks to HE Dr Nayef Alhajraf for the Founders Invitational Address, which added a powerful layer to the discussions on the future of digital assets. A heartfelt thank you to James Bowater and Darren Parkin for facilitating such a pivotal event. Their dedication brought together the brightest minds and leaders in Web3, fostering conversations that will undoubtedly shape the future of the industry. The Digital Commonwealth Summit not only celebrated innovation but also set the stage for the UK’s emergence as a leader in blockchain and Web3. This gathering continues to solidify its place as the “who’s who” event for the crypto and blockchain sector.
