BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

A ridiculous position to hold. Implicit in Martin’s comments is a belief we don’t have ‘reconciliation’ today, yet that does not negate our current constitutional position. A more logical position would be to contend Unity offers a better framework to advance reconciliation.

Oversimplifying causes of current fuel cost crisis risks enabling profiteers. In Ireland, prices rise faster & fall more slowly than elsewhere. The home-heating oil price spike that was eight times steeper than EU average suggests that we’re an outlier. independent.ie/opinion/commen…

Horrifying admission on the BBC. Israel is intentionally using the total destruction of Gaza as a "blueprint" and "model" for their invasion of Lebanon. They are displacing millions and raising entire neighborhoods to the ground. This is pure evil.

The UN mediator proposed that Palestinian refugees had the right to return to their homes in 1948. The very next day, Zionist operatives ambushed his motorcade in Jerusalem and assassinated him. They literally murdered a UN official to stop peace.

Since the 1960s, Cuba has sent over 600,000 health professionals to more than 160 countries, earning it the nickname "The Army of White Coats."  Historically, they have: 💊 treated over 2.3 BILLION people 💊 performed 17 million + surgeries 💊 assisted 5 million births 💊 saved 12 million lives So why can’t the world help them back, instead of blockading their country?
Sinai Fleary 🇬🇩🇻🇨@S_Fleary1

Cuba has a proven and consistent track record of helping so many countries not just in the Caribbean but elsewhere during natural disasters, humanitarian crises and just in general. To see so many countries turn their backs on them right now is unbelievable.

I continue to follow the situation in the Middle East with dismay. Like other regions of the world, it is torn apart by war and violence. We cannot remain silent in the face of the suffering of so many defenseless victims of these conflicts. What wounds them wounds all of humanity. The death and pain caused by these wars is a scandal for the entire human family and a cry that rises to God!

Sinn Féin is the only Irish political party that has year-round engagement in the US, and not just DC or with politicians. More Americans saw Zohran's St. Patrick's Day message than any of Emma's speeches. Outside of the highly engaged, unionism/DUP is kinda irrelevant here.

Sam McBride@SJAMcBride

This has been a good week for unionism, while Sinn Fein seriously blundered - as I saw with my own eyes. In failing to distinguish between the American government and the American people, the party boycotted people who have nothing to do with Donald Trump. belfasttelegraph.co.uk/comment/opinio…
