Visited Bishop Williamson’s House-Chapel. Later had tea with him, and after he and I had a terrific lunch. He’s doing well, very generous and his advice is stellar. Please do pray for our Bishop’s continued health!

He came to dinner at our house in Toronto once, and what struck everyone there was his total lack of awareness that there was any crisis happening in the Church. Everything was fine.

Je ne suis pas un fidèle de la FSSPX, mais qu'est-ce que je vous aime. Malgré vos défauts ( et on en a tous, là il y a de l'homme, il y a de l'hommerie ), à vos côtés je me sens compris sur certains sujets comme aucun moderne ne sauras me comprendre, car ils ne sont pas intégralement catholiques, ils sont autre chose...c'est une usurpation, un mélange, ils se nomment " catholiques sociaux " ou " charismatiques " et tout autre adjectif qui ne se réfère pas au modernisme mais sous-entend son naturalisme, son rationalisme, son proportionalisme, son fidéisme, son anthropocentrisme son historicisme et bien d'autres hérésies multicondamnés ... Quand les hommes d'Église ce sont tourner vers les fidèles, ils ont tourné le dos à Dieu, nous l'avons vu, notamment pendant le Covid, et encore aujourd'hui, nous le voyons. Je reprends les propos de Mgr Schneider et je les fais miens : « Quand Mgr Lefebvre a consacré les évêques en 1988, il a dit : “Je le fais pour les papes.” Pour que soit préservée l’intégrité de tout ce que l’Église — l’Église romaine et les Papes — avait strictement commandé d’observer jusqu’au Concile : la Foi, la liturgie et la formation sacerdotale, exactement comme l’Église l’avait commandé pendant des siècles. Il disait : “Nous ne faisons rien d’autre que ce que l’Église a demandé et commandé pendant des siècles.” Comment pourrions-nous faire quelque chose de mal, si c’est précisément ce que l’Église a considéré, et même exigé strictement, pendant des siècles, et qui a produit des saints ? Our holy religion has been turned into an engagement slop fad. It will only get worse. Just another fad.

In honour of St Joseph, patron of good deaths, I made my first little illuminated page, as a gift for a friend who I met on this day, last year. It means, “May I die in the arms (bosom) of Jesus and Mary”. I hope all of your lents are successful so far. God bless you!
