Fantastic day at 1st Drive. The day was split into 3 parts: driving, car maintenance + reaction tests, + an informative talk on safety behind the wheel with some really fun activities involving beer goggles 😂 The students were fantastic! Well done Senan for best reaction time 🥇

Thank you to Katie from @devperspectives and Ms. McEntee for today’s workshop on Global Citizenship and the SDGs where we looked at critical thinking, problem solving, systems thinking and active citizenship. Looking forward to the next one! #sustainablegoals 🌍

Thank you so much to Ollie from @ShoutOut_IE for their workshop today on the #LGBTQ community. It was great to openly discuss the terminology and discuss ways our school community can become better allies.

Our @StOliversCC students Rachel, Emily, Jack and Oran participating in the National Finals of @AgriAware Environmental Innovators Competition. @biOrbic_centre gave them the opportunity to see doctorate & postdoctoral research in action.

Another busy day for our TYs. Life changing skills really! 🤣 The circus workshop had it all! Juggling, Diabolo, Plate Spinning and Balloon Art! It's been so great seeing the TYs engage so well with all these activities! 🤹‍♀️🎈

Congrats to Rachel, Emily, Jack and Oran whose video "Food Waste" made it to the finals of Agri Aware’s new TY programme Environmental Innovators. The final is on Jan 31st in @ucddublin Thanks to Ms. Duggan for her work with this group + Mr. Farrell for his part in the video!

Things were getting competitive this week in our Chinese class with Ms. Williams. It was a battle of nerve to gain the title of elite chopsticks holder, which ended in a draw. Swipe to see our new King and Queen of chopsticks 🥢👑

Some of our TYs had the privilege of attending a talk on problems associated with refugee camps with Jaz O'Hara, founder of @theworldwidetribe + Syrian national Hashem Badran who shared his story. Thank you to both for giving your time to our students on such an important topic
