The strange thing with safe cycle infrastructure is once its been in place for over a year, opposition decreases significantly. It’s almost as if people don’t believe it will improve an area, but once it’s there, they don’t want to go back.

Q5 through the Oval to Stockwell #LTN has been 'rebranded' (ie given a lick of new paint) as C5. Photo on the left is today. Photo on the right is what the same junction used to look like during the weekday rush hour (when we shared our neighbourhood with 8,000 cars a day).
