It was wonderful to photograph the concert marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day at Westminster Hall, Houses of Parliament. The performance was one of the official events of four days of national celebrations.

Toubkal, highest peak in Atlas Mountains (4,167m) with amazing team of 13, who all have #T1Diabetes in their lives. A FAB combination! Gutted that Toubkal has beaten me (at 3,300m) only coz Parkinson’s has screwed my balance! Otherwise an incredible week!💙

@QueenOfCarbs98 I use libre but found it to be fine in temps of 40 + in Italy last summer. Suncream & sweat can make adhesive less sticky. Packing surgical tape to stick over my libre helped with this & I also just brought plenty of spares in case it did drop off. Have a great time in Vietnam!

Hey #gbdoc! I’m off to Vietnam next week where the temperature is going to be in the high 30s, am I ok to expose my Dexcom to such high temperatures if it’s on my arm in the sun? This’ll be my first time in a super hot country as a diabetic so I’m keen to not kill my Dexcom😂

Last night I interviewed @rogersayerorga1 - the organ soloist in Hans Zimmer’s Oscar nominated score to Interstellar - in the first concert as part of his World Tour celebrating 10 years since Interstellar’s release. 🌟💫

Today I became a father! Please welcome Miles (inspiration from O’Brien and Davis!) to this pale blue dot! So proud of my partner who has endured a really difficult weekend in various stages of labour before he arrived late this morning. We’ve been awake for 39 hours too!

So hes back to finger pricking

@SOliverCello @GBDocInfo @FreeStyleDiabet I can’t like that Tweet - not nice when sensors pack up when you’re on holiday 😩. I wasn’t sure about spare sensors and x-ray so had mine looked at separately and I knew that I shouldn’t go through the full body scanner - metal detector arches are supposed to be ok.
