🚨 REPORTER: We aren't escorting ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Why?! How did you not plan for this?! SECWAR PETE HEGSETH: "We PLANNED for it. We recognize it. Because ultimately we want to do it sequentially in a way that makes the most sense for what we want to achieve and ensure that we're sending the right signals to the world when we do so." "It's like this whole idea of the war 'widening.' That's what the press wants to make it look like, like it's widening, and chaos." "No, we're actually closing in on grabbing hold of and controlling what objectives we want to achieve and how we want to achieve them." "It's called shaping operations and setting the conditions." "Foolish political leaders and foolish military leaders of the past will hang an exact deadline on it, or here's exactly when we'll do what we're gonna do, or here's how long it's gonna take us." "And then if you meet that, maybe you meet it. But if you don't, you fail, and if you're far beyond." "The interagency the Strait of Hormuz is something we've paid attention to from the beginning and the American people can rest assured we will ensure that our interests are advanced."

🚨BREAKING: PRESIDENT TRUMP: They just found $31 billion! They said, 'Sir, we found $31 billion. We don't know why.' I said, is this a good or a bad find? This was a PLUS 31. We were used to finding negative 31 for the last 30 years. I said, 'check the TARIFF shelf.' Check it. He comes back 2 hours later - 'Sir, you were right. We have an additional $31 billion.' BILLION, not million, from tariffs. We're a WEALTHY nation again! Simple poll. Please be honest! As of today, how much do you still trust and support President Trump for everything he did? A. 100% B. 50% C. 25% D. 0% MAKE THIS GO VIRAL ON 𝕏. LET’S GO 👏

The United States struck its own trade and economic deal with China in November. The deal resulted in China lowering tariffs on American agricultural exports, ending China's retaliatory actions against U.S. semiconductor businesses, and the United States lowering tariffs on Chinese imports. When Canada went to China to strike its own deal to trade market access for Canadian agricultural exporters while conceding on Chinese vehicles, the U.S. President lashed out and is now threatening to destroy the Canadian economy with 100% blanket tariffs. We still do not have all of the details regarding the Canada-China deal. For instance, the extent to which Canada will "cooperate" with CCP law enforcement to somehow "protect" Canadians isn't fully known. We still do not know of any guardrails that the Canadian government promised us in this agreement, because officials have refused to provide any details. The lack of detail regarding the Canada-China deal is not something to simply gloss over. Canadians deserve full transparency over this agreement. The fact is, the United States has demonstrated that it has no problem engaging with China in a strategic way that benefits both economies. A free, sovereign country like Canada should be allowed to do the same thing. If the United States believes it can police Canada into economic submission for daring to do the same thing that they themselves are doing, then the sad reality is that we are completely subordinate. A situation that should be viewed as plainly unacceptable for all Canadians. The United States does not own Canada.

@FoodProfessor You obviously know that this is because there is minimum pricing of milk at retail. This is suppose to protect the small dépanneurs from supermarket competition. It has nothing to do with supply management

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew wants more milk price regulation to keep prices down. Reporters asked what I think. My answer? "Look at Quebec: the most regulated milk market in Canada—and the most expensive."
The Food Professor@FoodProfessor

BREAKING: Manitoba to look into differential pricing in groceries — where the same product could cost different amounts depending on who’s buying, how they shop online, what an algorithm thinks they’ll pay. About time someone is looking into this. It will be a big topic in 2026.

@Muffster1971 En voilà un de plus qui n’a pas compris pourquoi ils sont maintenant dans l’opposition! Même la défaite électorale n’a pas eu raison de l’arrogance de ce parti!

Packed on December 6, Best Before December 7? For ground beef costing more than $6 a pound at Costco. Come on, Costco — the least you could do is offer a discount.

@CTVMontreal Why didn’t you say that this bike path never existed during winter except for a pilot project last year? Why didn’t you specify that the results were inconclusive, that there were only 20 people (most of them not Outremont residents) and that the organizer works for Vélo-Québec?
