I carry at 4-5 o'clock. Easier in the vehicle and really the only way to carry on horseback. Summertime, pocket 9's. Winter, normally I have a vest on or one of my coats.
Appendix is now the 'in' thing. But every few years there is some great 'awakening' that catches on. Comps, red dots, etc.

So now we’re at the point where if you don’t carry appendix… you’re supposedly just fat and untrained?
Yeah, no.
I carry appendix. A lot.
But this weird idea that every other carry position means something is wrong with you is straight-up nonsense.
Not everybody wants to spend all day pointing a gun at their femoral artery just because the internet decided appendix carry is the only “serious” way to carry.
Some people carry appendix.
Some people carry 3 o’clock.
Some people care more about speed.
Some care more about comfort.
Some care more about risk.
That doesn’t make one person tougher and the other person trash.
So let’s settle this in the comments:
What position do you carry in most of the time?
Appendix or strong side?
And be honest…
Do you think people who shame others for not carrying appendix are helping the gun community… or just showing off?
Comment:
APPENDIX
or
STRONG SIDE
And then tell me why.
Let’s see where the real split is.

@MrColionNoir Strong side, 4 o’clock, IWB. But let’s not discount off body. Eberlestock Bando and Savior Obscura are both quality products.

@Matt_Pinner We had one in the fire department for driving in pickets that we would use as anchor points for rope rescues.

@Channel4News This MAN is the epitome of a good human, much less son/brother. God was with him in his time of need. What a great story to kick off the year.

A 13-year-old boy in Australia has been hailed for saving his family from drowning after they were swept out to sea.
Austin Appelbee was with his mother and two younger siblings when they got into difficulty.
He managed to swim two and a half miles to shore to raise the alarm and a search helicopter managed to find the family clinging to a paddleboard after ten hours in the water.

@PropositoyVida Mis hijos jugaban con esas “armas”, que lo más peligrosos que tenían era el ruido infernal que hacían. Hoy son hombres hecho y derechos, profesionales y no se transformaron en criminales.

@PalominoOMG @LibOrNormal That is absolutely true. I was stationed in Yuma, Arizona. We went to Mexico often. They will, and do stop Americans for no reason and money talks

@crashgirl42 @Emilio2763 You should be able to plug into the cars computer and download engine stats at time of collision.

@Emilio2763 Here’s the best part, racing isn’t covered in your insurance policy, and if their company sees this ( which they probably will) you’re not getting paid for the damage and getting canceled. I had many idiots like this when I was an insurance adjuster
